Hi, I was wondering if there was anything I could use other than a mouse so I could sit back, relax and surf the net. Anything you could reccommend?

I'm not going to overclock it, chillblast.comdoes it forme. Do you think the cooling that comes with the P5K deluxe will be ok for the 2.4 to 2.93 overclock?

My motherboard will be a Asus P5K Motherboard, is that ok for the overclocked processor? Or should I upgrade to a Asus P5K Deluxe LGA775?

Also the PSU is a 620W is that adequate for my processor and 768mb graphics card?

For an extra £15 I get get the Q6600 overclocked to 2.93GHz by Chillblast.com. Will that shorten the computers life?

Which processor should I choose in my new PC? Q6600 at 2.4GHz or E6850 at 3.0GHz? I intend to use it mainly for games and want to make it last for about 3 to 4 years. I know at the moment the E6850 is probably a bit better for most games than a Q6600, but will that change in a few years?

Thanks

Decent as in what? It depends on what you are going to do. The best bang for the buck right now is a 320GB HDD. 500GB are coming down in prices considerably however.

Decent as in it will hold about ten games at least at a time, and taking into consideration that games will get bigger in 3 years.

Most likely a new video card is all you will need for the next 3 years. If you can go for a quad core C.P.U., then you will be set for at-least 3 years.roulettethedog

I can upgrade to a Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz for £15 more, should I do that?
