The original Tales (Tales of Phantasia) was published by Namco (NamoBandai is now the owner of the IP) and developed by Wolf Team. Wolf Team eventually became Namco Tales Studio after a portion of the team left to form Tri-Ace and Namco was able to obtain majority shareholder status. So it's technically correct that the IP is under a different ownership, but it's owned by the original publisher. The real reason that more releases aren't being localized is that NamcoBandai does not see the value. Localization of text heavy games is already expensive, but they also insist on including voice tracks (which when inluding the skits is a massive undertaking). Financially, they're resources are better used releasing more profitable games like the Naruto series. I would venture to guess, however, that Xillia will get a North American release. It's part of the Tales 15th Anniversary and likely a much higher profile release then Graces.

Name: Andrew
Location: Monmouth Junction, New Jersey
Hobbies: Games, Movies, Soccer, Running
Favorite Console: PS1
Favorite Game: Xenogears
Collection Size: 200+ (No current pics)

XBL: Agent Meister
PSN: Arcadian

I didn't realize I was a collector until I got the collector emblem on Gamespot and took a good look at my games. I don't buy everything under the sun but have managed to accumulate a decent amount by simply buying what I like (and by having a not-so-rare affinity for anything and everything in a limited edition).

While I can't imagine NMH without the massive amount of blood, buying the freeloader just for NMH is probably a waste. You'll still get the same amazing gameplay and story without the blood. On the other hand, if you would use the freeloader to pick up other games like SSBB early than the purchase would probably be worth it.
