Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

So I got Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (hence forth called GTA:SA) a few weeks ago, and like it's predecessors it's incredibly difficult to control but a joy to go through the story line. I remember playing the first two games and the controls were both hard to master at first. Even after weeks of playing, there were some things that were just difficult to get a hold of. GTA:SA throws in a new twist by doing the whole flying thing. I think it's a great addition to the game, however, I plainly hate the damn concept of flying in the game. Don't even get me started on the helicopters. You would think that after making three games, they would have possibly in proved on the control features.
While we're on the topic of improving things from previous games, what in the world happened to improving the graphics? the Warcraft series were greatly improved on with each subsequent release. Half Life's graphics were improved (grant it, it did take damn near forever for Half Life 2 to be released), but seriously, it feels like Rockstar decided to just take the easy road out, improve the blur from the last games and release the game. There are so many game engines out there that they could have used to improve the look of the game. But I suppose there's pride at stake, and when you've made something, it's hard to let it go for something that may be better.
But of course, in hindsight, why change the way the series looks right? Well whatever, the controls piss me off and the graphics could have used some major over-hauling.
That's not to say the game sucks. As mentioned above, the story line and dialogues are the best. I think I've caught myself giggling and laughing at the commercials and the radio news. I specifically like how you get to hear O.G. Loc on the radio when you've moved on from Los Santos. If anything, the story line is what will keep you going. I have kept playing just to see what happens next, despite my frustrations with the controls.
So all in all this was an okay game. I gave it a low score, however, because I feel the controls and graphics could have been greatly improved on. But the story and dialogue is what keeps this game going.
Thank you for your time..... whoever has bothered to read this.
