Morrowind: The elder scrolls (game of the year edition)

Well I've been playing morrowind for sometime now. But i seem to not be able to play enough for my friend plays slightly more than I do is a level 39 player while I who has had the game longer am merely a level 19. But anyway I've made my way through the game mainly by sticking to the roads and not venturing forth too much cuz i really hate dying and in the game you can't die and respawn like on many of the mmorpg's I play. well I was wondering to myself the other day. I really love this game for its in-depth way of making the player play the game and run around everywhere. I like it quite a bit. Well i have a question to those who see this and to others who hear about it.

Why must people, who normally must play for hundreds of hours, use cheat codes to finish a game and then tell everyone that they are and awesome gamer for the simple fact that they finished in record time. Like this friend of mine he ahd finished morrowind III, yet I have itmes that are far superior to his equipment (which he claims is uber). and yet he still insists that he is a better gamer. So then we played halo 2 (angelic chorus plays) where I pwned him 15 rounds to 3 with a winning margin of at least 12 kills. Now i'm not trying to gloat, but it just seems odd to me how someone , who obviously sucks compared to certain players, can say that they are a true gamer. Which in my own view is someone who can play ANY game and within a certian amount of time, relatively short, be as good as someone who plays it for months. Normally TG's (True Gamers) rely more on skillfull play rather than button mashing. Well in my experience at least. Well I got to go for now. Gonna play some morrowind and then finish my game of Gun. Hopefully it turns out to be a bad-azz game.

Fatal Frame II The Crimson Butterfly

I was just playing this game and oh man did it scare the crud out of me. I mean whoa. the atmosphere of the game is just creepy enough without one of the ghosts groaning " It......Hurts...... IT...HURTS!...." and then lunging at you. Whew, well my 5.1 surround sound helped with the atmosphere a little hehe.8)

Cabella's Deer Hunter 2004

I played deer hunter the other day and was pretty impressed with its graphics and over-all gaming experiance. The animal sounds a actions were pretty realistic with teh wind conditions, weather, feeder placements and scents used. It took me nearly three hours of calling and waiting to lure a 21 point buck my way on hard level. This game I feel truly marks hunting at it best. I mean most hunting games I've played can be beat with ease at harder levels. Plus I like the fact that this game put in a sighting feature to let you account , not only for distance, but for windage and elevation. You can sight a scope to one-hundred yards dead accurate, or sight it to a moderate fifty-yards dead accurate. But like I said most games of this nature tend to be easy, Though I can say that if set on easy, this game can be mostly a run-around-and-shoot-deer type game since at easy level all the deer are marked with red dots that can be seen from any spot on the map.

Well like i said it took me around 3 hours to nail that 21 point buck and man that shot was like 85 yards out and against the wind. Oh it was sweet. Although I didn't kill it right off, it ran about 35 yards before it died.

Well check back, some other time to see my thoughts and actions in this or any other game I play.
