Now we're talking!

A good way to wake up! I get online, check my morning sites, and find that GameFly sent me Batman: Arkham Asylum. This is more my style than SW:TFU as I'm a big comic book fan. I ended up not giving SW:TFU proper play time, but that was mostly because of HoN and my cousin bought me a copy of Borderlands through Steam.

Me, my cousin, and my brother have all been playing Borderlands like crazy. It just feels like a game we always wanted. FPS with a coop story mode, and a multiplayer RPG. More on this later... truly an amazing game.

HoN distraction.

Haven't gotten around to putting much time into Star Wars: TFU. Mostly been playing Heroes of Newerth. It's still in beta, but if you've ever played the Warcraft III map mod DoTA, this is basically a fullly featured game based almost 1:1 off of that. Extremely addicting, extremely fun.

From what I have played of SW:TFU, I would say the game seems decent, the biggest problem being that I'm not a Star Wars fan in the slightest. Nothing about the history, the movies, or the characters excite me. I guess you could say that wanting to rent the game is my bad to begin with, but SW as a game seems like it could be fun enough. Perhaps the fact that I just played inFamous like crazy is why I'm not as excited about it. Perhaps I need another genre.

Any way, back to HoN. Writing this blog was painful as it took time away from the game. So addicting!

GameFly Arrival.

It wasn't one of my top three, but it was in my queue so I still wanted to play it. I just got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Been wanting to play it, and now that there was a trophy patch it seemed like a good time to go for it. I'll let you know how I feel about it soon.

At it again.

Gonna give this blogging thing a shot again. Did it before, enjoyed it enough, but I just didn't keep up with it. Any way, enough with that.

I recently started GameFly back up. After some fighting with customer service on the phone, they "set me as a priority", if there is such a thing. The first game I received was number one in my queue, The Beatles: Rock Band. Now I'm not a Beatles fan (dodges thrown objects) by any means, but I still found the game enjoyable. Wonderful artwork, great set up, and all on the wondeful Rock Band format. I did find it very short, though... played through all the songs in about a day and didn't find much of a reason to kepe it past that. Pretty quick turn around.

After that I received inFamous, which I loved. A lot. To see exactly how much I loved it, check out my recently written review. Since my review was pretty thorough, all I'll say here is... man that game was bad ass.

So now I'm playing the waiting game to see what comes next. Number one on my queue is Batman: Arkham Asylum followed by Uncharted 2 (not likely) and Brutal Legend. Got a couple of other oddities thrown in there to increase my chances for a game being sent, but those are the top three I'm really looking forward to.

Last but not least, in between GameFly games I've been NBA 2K10 which I recently purchased. Loving it. Quite a few bugs that need to be ironed out, but still one of the best basketball simulations I've ever played

Come on Batman! Can't wait.
