Why are you so Angry after E3?

I have been waiting a great deal for E3 2013 to come and give me all the amazing information I need to carry on the rest of the year. Not only that, this year had the introduction of the new systems that I have been wanting but not in too much of a hurry to get.

I think the Xbox 360 and PS3 are still amazing system that are capable of delivering amazing experiences. We still Have GTA V to go here people.

I have been a long Xbox 360 user. I made the switch from the PS2 and never looked back really. My loyalty to Sony still made me buy a PS3 in hopes to rekindle my gaming on the system like the good old days with PS2. However with no Socom to engage me and games like Ratchet and Clank just failed to engage me with its graphics and story line.

I ended up selling the system and salvaging some of my money back to just focus on the 360 and go from there. So its no surprise that leading up to E3 I was really looking forward to (xbox 720....remember that?) Xbox One now.

So you can probably tell I was glued to my 360 to see all the new details. However my excitement went down the drain as the conference went on and on about restriction and rules the new system will toss at us the gamers.

Leading to E3 there was no shortage of rumors about the USED games. But if you remember the rumer was about the PS4 doing so and not the Xbox system. Come E3 MS made the announcement that they will restrict gamers and PS4 stood against them with their policy to allow gamers to sell used games.

As a 6 years supporter of the Xbox 360 I was truly disappointed at the path MS took with their new system. It feels like 2005 when I made the switch over to the 360 and felt bad leaving Sony behind.

I usually wait for E3 to order most of my games online. I ended up buying 7 games for the PS4 and only GTA V for the 360. MS lost me as a customer. Most gamers that support the new Xbox One are sticking with their statement "PS4 Sucks" And that is fine. There has to be a patch of gamers that support the system and meet the first patch of games to let us all know what we are missing on. http://youtu.be/e-pqWT1EYnw

I see myself owning and Xbox One in the distant future. Maybe when the price is lowered to 299, maybe when they change their policy. But I don't see myself buying it anytime soon.

I leave you with this thought....everything we own is allowed to be sold used, Cars, TVs, Houses, hell even ur wife ;) as you divorce and meet other people. But not Xbox One Games. Its hard to get a grip over it.

As we move forward only time will tell what the consumers are willing to do with their games. But anyway you look at it we are in for a ride of our life with the new systems and the challenges they will represent. For now Sony is trying to win the race, and I think they are off to a pretty good head start.
