These were taken today while we were putting up a fence.

Any body want to guess how big this bug was?

No I'm not having computer problems :lol:
Today I had to take two doors outside of the workshop and prime them for paint. Within 5 minutes of putting the first coat of primer on them the doors had a small collection of bugs sunbathing on the surface.
Here are a few of the best pics of the culprits.

This is your average winged aphid only 3mm long but quite cool looking :D

I hope you all are not to creaped out by my little friends I was just quite pleased with the pictures and thought I would share :D

As some of you may be aware I have been having some considerabl PC difficultys. :( Hopefully these are now a thing of the passed, as last night I spend some considerable time rebuilding my PC with new; motherboard, new prossesor and new RAM. This did not go as smoothly as I would have liked, as the mother board came with 2 drivers disks the first of which causes the PC to crash as soon as it is run :evil: and the second of which insists that XP sevice pack 3 is installed before it is run :o .... These things would try the patience of a saint. (I'm no saint ;) ) Frankly I think it is a miricle that these damnd things work at all. Any way I think all is right in the world of my PC (for now anyway) So I suppose I had better start writing my FF again befor the natives start to get restless. :D

Hi again, Yesterday I went to customers house the mesure a garage for new doors. The garage is not often used these days and as a consequence of this when I opened the doors about 100 spiders of various sizes scattered in all directions. Lucky for me I like spiders and lucky for you one of them was not camera shy (well I think its lucky.)



There were quite a few mice too but they were much much quicker and more camera shy.

Hi you wonderful people :D It has been a while since I have blogged (what can I say I have been boring and I have had nothing fun to say.)

However I was just watching an X-Files rerun and there was a psychic who could see other peoples deaths and it made me think, well what made me think was the psychic bought a lottery ticket regularly but never got close to winning.
I have frequently heard cynical people say to psychics
"If your so psychic tell me what the winning lottery numb3rs are."
It suddenly occurred to me why this would not work. Ok so first you have to accept that there is a communal consciousness (or sub-consciousness) all things known by all people are accessible by anybody who is tuned into it (psychics) the communal consciousness is not bound by time or space, anything that is known or will be know is "out there" the more people that know it or will know it the stronger and more accessible it is.
So going back to our lottery numb3r problem, the lottery numbers will be looked at by thousands of people and unless they win they will be forgotten almost instantly by the vast majority of people the only person that will have a good reason to remember the numb3r is the person that wins and if they win then they will most likely have other things to think about. :P So the winning lottery number if it is in the communal consciousness will not be a very strong or easy to access the thought, in fact you could say that accessing that thought in the communal consciousness would be a bit of a lottery :lol:

This is another work related blog.
When I'm working it is always to a plan of one sort or another and it annoys me when after spending time planning and some one comes along to waste my time by arguing with my plan or trying to rearrange what I am doing.
In order to aleviate this situation in some small way I have put up a new notice in the workshop

While in this workshop
please speak to me in low dulcet tones
and do not disagree with me in any manner.
Understand
that when one has reached my age and general state of disillusionment
noise and non-concurrence cause
Gastric Hyper-Peristalsis,
Hyper-Secretion of the Hydrochloric Acid,
and Rubor of the Gastric Mucosa
and...
I become a most unpleasant Bastard!

I hope that this sign will save someones life some day :D :P

So do you all like your work? I like mine most of the time, and when I don't I remember this and it makes me smile.
We the willing led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful.
We have been doing so much for so long with so little we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
If you feel that this applies to you in any small way then take comfort in knowing that you are a clever and valued person and life would be a lot harder for those around you if you were not there :D
So think happy thoughts and keep passing the open windows people. :) ;)

Greetings all, I guess some of you might have been wondering why I have been so quiet this week.... No? Oh well I'm gonna tell you any way. :P
As you might have noticed I have taken it upon my self to try to educate some of our friends about the problem we have on the NCIS forum with pointless threads. Well to cut a long story short I got moderated for it. I posted a comment on the Fifers thread I was not rude, I only said what everybody else was thinking. Well my post was deleted and I recived a warning for "Disruptive posting". I was rather cross and I spent a few days brooding on it. I will say this one last time:
If we dont tell people what the problem is how will they know why their threads are getting locked. If we dont comment and explain we will all drown in a sea of pointless threads and the forum will burst at the seams.
I will not mention this again as it is getting a bit old, but I though it was worth keeping you all up to date with how I feel about the subject as this is a blog after all.
Any way I'm back And I'm gonna stop going on now I hope you are all having a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you around the forum :D

Well the word is WOW!, it has been a long and trying week. We have been fitting a new desiner kitche this week (things have not gone smoothly and it has been hard work). My buddy spilled some superglue on our saw stand and I got my self stuck to it which sucked, but that was in the middle of the week and I'm all right now. Any way as you can probably tell it has been a week of long days and last night I was very tired when I went to bed. When I got up this morning the first thing I said was WOW! I have just slept for a sloid 12 hours..... That is the longest I have slept continuosly in years so I guess I must have needed it..... Right now I need a coffee :D I'll chat to you all later. Have a great week end ;)

Well since my little rant yesterday my neighbours cat has discovered the joy of sunbathing on a flat roof and chasing seagulls. Ahh nature red in tooth & claw :D Aint it great. The shell fish resterant is now closed :P So for the moment no more giggles for Dani and the rest of you thank you all for your sympathy & hugs :D It helped.
