@Arkhalipso: As for why is this review inaccurate? 90% of the "Reliable" professional gaming website gave QB 8; and there is a big difference between 6, 7 and 8, please give it a chance, play it and give me your honest opinion.. i'm interested to know
@Arkhalipso: No I didn't say reviewers should always give high scores to AAA games; I said one of the reviewing elements is the efforts invested in each game. In my personal opinion the efforts Remedy did with QB taking in consideration the lack of FMV games nowadays and the money value (two games & two add-on packs) deserve 8 of 10.
@Arkhalipso: Correct neither I'm a professional reviewer nor doing this for living; and as u said reviewing games MUST be far more complex and have much more elements than what i mentioned. but as a "GAMER" I believe professional games website have to support all developers who are working hard, invest efforts and money to come for us with new triple A IP - this is one of the reviewing elements - otherwise these developers will move to the Mobile market and\or more remasters of older games.
Gamespot inaccurate review may effect on 5% of true gamers purchasing decision
@Fia1: Most of the games that scored nine and above has one ending; I will replay the game to go back and change my decisions and see how its will change the story... As for the shooting I agree with you it's bad but remember this game about special power "Time".. Blending Jack's special abilities with shooting was a gameplay experience worth 7
I'm living in Dubai and I bought QB two days ago. Honestly I started to doubt the credibility of the Gamespot's reviews. my personal opinion (over 30 years gamer, from the Amstrad, Atari & Coleco era)
