Quake II definitely.

Feel like a lot of people will pick Half-Life 1 just because its so well known.  It was a fantastic game in its own right, but if you pit it up across Quake II it's hard to see it coming out on top.  Both are still thrilling games though, and way ahead of their time.

I would buy it... if the PS4 also required a constant internet connection.

However, if the PS4 did not require you to always be online, and the Xbox did, then I'm switching over to Sony.

I've had times where the internet goes down for 3 days, and there's nothing I can do about it.  If I'm offline, there's no reason as to why I shouldn't be able to play single player games- I paid for them, they are mine.

Microsoft probably won't do this though, so likely won't be an issue.  I don't think they're that stupid.

Computer version is better in almost every way but conveniance.  The only place the 360 has the definitve edge is its accessibility. Anyone can pick it up and play it, whereas on the computer you have to have a bit more dedication.  As far as gameplay itself goes, the Xbox version is blown out of the water in almost every way.  That doesn't make it a bad game, it's just that it's hard to compete with one of the most popular games in the world right now.

I loved the original Xbox (actually that whole generation of consoles was great- don't discredit the GameCube), but it still doesn't come close to the PS2. It will be a long time before another console like the PS2 comes along. There are dozens upon dozens of PS2 exclusives. Xbox had some great ones too, the original Halo being one of my favorite games of all time, but that still doesn't match the volumes of games available if you stuck with Sony.

I still sink a few hours into Skyrim every week, and it's still an interesting and engaging game.

What Sony really needs to do with the Vita is cut the price. I look at it this way- 3DS has no games. Vita has no games. 3DS costs $200. Vita costs $300. The Vita is the better, more powerful system and the better one to own. Right now though, there just isn't an appeal to either mobile handheld. But at the very least, the price needs to drop on the Vita to make it more competitive.

There's a few really bad ones, but I've got to give it to Duke Nukem Forever. Bought it for the 360, and I have never gotten rid of an Xbox game I didn't beat or play through at least once... and then I played that game. Too terrible I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Biblically bad.

Quake II for the PC- fantastic game, and I've replayed it more than once on Steam. :)

Forza Horizon may actually be something you want to look into. It isn't like the previous games in the series, it's much more streamlined and you can drive off the track with less repercussions, waaay more forgiving. It's also free roam and has all kinds of street racing.

I would say the Playstation, but never tried the N64 version so I'm bias. Good game though, definitely play it, for either system.
