BTW, I just got around to watching the video with Joe and I have to say that it was the worst video I've ever seen. I mean, talk about a lack of in-front-of-the-camera ability. I felt like he was showing me a PowerPoint presentation and just reading each slide as he went.
Alexp987 - Well, I don't see the word "console" in the title of this article anywhere. Why? Because, in reality, Halo 3 is the most over-hyped and overrated game since Halo 2, and everyone, including the "objective" writers here at Gamespot, have failed to account for their words and ideas. Sure, there are a few smart people out there like you, Alexp987 (Like the name by the way!), but a majority of Halo lovers think that there is only one software developer in the world and only one video game ever created. To even mutter the word "revolutionary" in regard to Halo 3 is a display of extreme ignorance. Why weren't people talking about Timesplitters' map maker feature? It was a console game! I don't have a problem with people who say that the Halo games are solid FPS games for the console system, I have a problem with the ones who think that it is the only FPS game in the world and that everything Bungie does is "revolutionary."
Played Halo 1 and 2 on and off since each of their releases. Though, "This is fun once in a while with friends. Then though, "Why would I pay for my ISP and then again pay for Xbox Live to play Halo online when I can just wait for the PC version which looks nicer, is free-to-play online, and has more customizable options? Halo 3 is overhyped and overrated. Granted, it one of the few solid FPS games to come out for a console system, but there are a ton of FPS games for the PC that blow it out of the water, including the PC versions of Halo and Halo 2. Console gamers... get a clue.
