I know this is PS3 forum but If you have a PS2 theres Baldur`s Gate: Dark Alliance 1 & 2, also Champions of Norrath & Champions Return to arms, they are pretty good hack n slash rpg`s. I think there`s also Sacred 2 but i`m not sure if its on PS3.
Hopefully i`ll get my PS3 one of these days so i`ll add you buddy, i`m also pretty much like you`ve described yourself so i think we might get along just fine ;) I think i`m gonna get Gran Turismo 5 which is pretty good for relaxing, other i might get is Uncharted 3. Hopefully you have one of those,cheers!
I was wondering about the game Machinarium. What kind of game play is it? and is it any good?jcopp72
Machinarium is a point & click adventure game, very difficult one at that, you`d probably need a walkthrough to finish it. I only recommend it if you like point & click games.
Alundra 1 is a great 2D adventure game in Zelda fashion, game has some brutal puzzles though. Suikoden 2 is also one of the best JRPGs i`ve played so i would recommend it to anyone who has interest in those type of games.
Like someone mentioned before, a good mix of everything. I was a sucker for JRPGs in PS1/PS2 era, now i mostly love games like the Mass Effect series, Skyrim, Uncharted, Gran Turismo which is good for relaxing & so on.
