While there's not too much coming out for the ps3 that is unique there are still plenty of things out and coming like Burnout Paradise, Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4, Turok, SW:The Force Unleashed, Soul Calibur IV,Oblivion, Resident Evil 5, Motostorm 2, The Lord of the Ring - The White Council, The Lord of the Rings ConQuest, Fallout 3 :), Far Cry 2, Dark Void, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, RainbowSix Vegas 1 & 2, Tom Clancy's EndWar, Resistance 2, Mirror's Edge, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Killzone 2, Alone in the Dark, PlayStation Home, WipEout HD, Haze, Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Batman, Grand Turismo 5, Lost Planet, The Orange Box and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Not to mention the best console graphics and a blu-ray player! :D

The Gamecube is one of the most amazing and under-appreciated platforms in history. There are countless great titles to play. Buy one, unless a Wii is an option. The Wii would be better since it plays all Wii and Gamecube games.famicommander

Yes, but he'd still need to buy controllers and a memory card. I have a Wii and I think its far better. I also know that Action Replay and Freeloader both work on a Pal Wii, whether that's any help or not, I cannot say.

If you're a metal gear solid fan, consider getting MGS: Twin Snakes, which is a Remake of the original. Other good titles are LoZ: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil + RE 0,2,3 & C:VX.

Also, if its going to be a mmorpg its probably going to have to adopt the lame 3rd person look like wow and guild wars.....I wouldn't like that at all. But if they managed to make it like oblivion but a mmorpg then that would rock :o Although they won't because of the lag that much freedom of movement would cause.

New Super Mario Bros, Tetris and Mario 64 make some use of it.

Also Big Brain accademy, brain training, actionloop all make good usage of it.
