I still remember trying to figure out which were CTs and Ts when I first started playing this game! Learning about covering fire and flushing out players (in general just working as a team). Haven't played either in years, so I'm a bit rusty =/

Great article. I have a couple of friends that are transgender and also hope that this world (USA in particular) can overcome its discrimination. We definitely aren't where we should be today, but are far far advanced than how we used to be though. Seems like Gamespot has been writing much more serious and heartfelt articles lately. Kudos.

I haven't actually played the game yet, but I agree it should not be changed. Apart from the above article's overemphasis on this game being an art (it is, but should not be compared to Monet or Rushdie), it was very well written. I did not get the sense that it was necessarily EA pandering, because as you can see in another article, Gamespot does criticize other decisions that the game has made (http://www.gamespot.com/features/who-the-hell-is-james-vega-6366008/). Nor does the article defend the content of the ending as being good, rather that it should not be changed to please the masses. Take for example the Sopranos. There was an outrage to the ending of that series, but the writer refused to change it. Good for him.
