Morrowinds a bit dated even with the graphics mods, (I can't stand bad/old graphics)

and the fighting is OH GOD IT'S PAINFUL, i have the game and all expansion moded to buggery and even then I prefer my slightly modded oblivion.

I'm also an exclusively PC Gamer, with a prefrence towards RPGs

I'm always on the hunt for a another RPG that has good story, good visuals, something unique, good fun or tactical combat,  good lvling and a reasonable magic option.

I enjoy Oblivion, Skyrim, Dragon Age: Origins, Witcher 1 & 2.

On a more ARPG side Assassins Creed 2 & Brotherhood, Darksiders 2, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

... also worth mentioning, that might apeal to you, is LOTR War in the North (it's a hack and slash cross RPG)

... If you like Game of Thrones you can see wether the RPG is to your taste (warning not everyones game)

Some games that I'll be playing soon that have apealed to me is Two Worlds 2, Fable 3, Divinity 2

Thanks for the link, an interesting article.

SO for it to be a true RTS games should include Politics and other non-direct conflict.
I like the sound of that (if done well), it would a whole new level of depth to the genre if it split into:
"Political Real Time Stratergy" and "Tatical Real Time Stratergy"
