FreeSpace 2 is probably still the best one out there. Good luck finding a copy, though.

We posted some new screenshot comparisons for the new patch for Company of Heroes, released today. This first batch of screenshots came from the publisher THQ. You can see them here.

To be honest, I'm not sure how well that game would work with the Wii Remote. It was definitely made for a regular controller and worked great with it.

If you have both maps and don't miss any treasures, you can save up 1 million about 2/3 of the way through. It's very easy.

If your lifebar is maxed out, you might also want to start selling G+R+Y herbs, which go for 10,000 apiece.

You might want to try Age of Wonders II or Shadow Magic, both of which were great, and Heroes V, which was also pretty decent.

For real-time strategy, Company of Heroes came out last year and was great; Dawn of War: Dark Crusade came out in 2004 and was also great, and Warcraft III came out in 2002 and was great. Command & Conquer 3 will also be coming out soon.
