My first Blog post is sadly about Sony annoucing that there wont be a price drop for the PS3 in europe, instead they are offering different bundles like two controllers and two games etc...

Ive had every incarnation of the Playstation and looked forward to getting the new generation of console and see what it offered in the way of gameplay and visual quality, I new there would be kinks with the new machine there always is with next gen tech. So I thought I would wait for them to be sorted out and by that time the price tag would have come down and there would be a wider range of games available, now there saying the price isnt droping ive found myself buying a Xbox 360 instead on the advice of a pal.

There is how ever a drop in price on the American market because there fading out the 60 GB consoles and replacing them with 80 GB models. I still cant understand why the same doesnt aply here in europe. Im glad that ive chosen to switch to the 360, the visual gameplay on some games such as gears of war is awsome I know you'll probably get the same visual affects on the PS3 there seems to be more titles available for 360 probably because its been around a year longer. The microsoft E3 press confrence had alot more content in terms of games on show, I hope Sony do better at Leipzig Germany (the european e3).

p.s i know this sounds like ive turned my back on PS3, ill have a PS3 this time next year and all will be right with the world. ;)
