My favorite one is FFX soundtrack, there are many great songs, but my favorite is via purifico, also called purgatorial road or pathway of repentance, I just love that song :P
The most original Valefor, its the only aeon with 2 overdrives (Energy blast and Energy ray), the most stylish is Anima, with all its sorrowful story is so cool.
Ahh, this is bad, they changed Pearl, now is Holy ¬¬, well I think Holy is the common name, but the blitz names T_T, Bum Rush was great, and now the name is so lame ¬¬.
I really dont like to attack other people points view because everyone is different and like different things, but my thoughts about FFVII are very clear. It is a great game, its story is a very interesting one, characters have a convincing background, the gameplay is simple and enjoyable, the graphics are not that bad for their time, and the sound (as any other Uematsu soundtrack) is awesome.
But here comes the thing... I dont like it that much. When I played it I really found a very good game, but I found it somehow... plain. I already mention the good things, but there many others I didnt like.
And my favorite FF is actually Final Fantasy IX, maybe many others wont really agree with me, but there was something in that game, something that I enjoyed a lot, it was a great feeling. The story of the game is simple, it goes to the point since the beginning, the gameplay is yet another job system, but I liked it a lot, the music was incredible, the characters possess not just a good background, but almost possess a soul, its incredible the way they developed their characters personalities and stories.
Well that is what I think about FFVII and that is my opinion about my favorite FF game, so good luck to every FFE member, see ya!!
And what about Yuna and Tidus scene in the Macalania Woods with "Suteki da ne" as background song, it was very romantic, well... at least that is my favorite FF love scene :wink:
Hi there everyone, I'm kinda new in here (actually I've been a member for some months but I didnt know about this topic, so dont blame me, I get easily distracted with the FFE news xD). Well Im 17 years old, Im Mexican, I love most RPGs, of course FF games are my all-time favorites xP, my favorite FF is mmm... hard decission, well I have to say, FFVI and FFX, but in general every FF game is special on its own way (mmm maybe FFX-2 is not thaaat special). I used to have more time to play games, but Im in college now, so my gaming time is very reduced u_u, but I try to play every time I have the opportunity to. mmm, a good question, I prefer the name Squaresoft, but Square-enix is producing games with a better quality, and the enix games have improved a lot, like Valkyrie Profile, Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, etc.
