Let me go on to say that before the PS3 even released, I was a bit skeptical. The logo looked of course like the Spider-man logo, the machine went for over $600 and the launch titles were..well..yeah. I took the plunge and bought an xbox 360 thinking that this would end up being the cheaper, better bargain. Well in the long run I learned that a certain thing called the RROD stopped me from enjoying my gaming experience sinse it happened to me twice. After the second time I decided to trade it in for a playstation 3, and at first I regretted this. I went from having rumble, 10+ games including guitar hero, a chat pad, xbox live and everything a gamer needed to no rumble, only Metal Gear Solid 4 and no friends. I thought I made a huge mistake. But after investing some time and money into my playstation 3, buying a headset, getting some of the latest and greatest games and meeting new people, the ps3 has become one of the easiest, most stress free consoles I have ever owned. The online was so easy to set up and create an account it only took minutes to do and the navigation was a breeze. The winter blockbusters were all a hit and the AAA titles just keep on coming. I now own over 10 games, a dualshock 3 controller and one of the officially licenced Playstation Bluetooth headsets, which in my mind is the best headset I have ever used. I've always put my trust in Sony and I have faith in them to further improve the Playstation 3 with firmware updates and huge titles. 2008 was a great year for PS3 owners and 2009 is guaranteed to not disappoint.
