Computer Crashing

I figured out why my computer was crashing every time I played GTA2. It was because my CPU was overheating. I guess it's ware and tear because it never use to do it at all.

Anyways, the way I fixed is that I turned it down... it was set to run at full capacity at 166 mHz so I turned it back down to 100 mHz. Although the computer now lacks about 25% of the processing power, I haven't felt it yet. No big deal.

GTA2 Problems

Recently, I have found GTA2 being offered to download for free by the RockStar website. It's part of a promotion they are having where they are giving away three games for free. GTA1, GTA2 and one other game that really really sucks and I uninstalled right after. I've been playing the second one mostly 'cause you can actually save in it, unlike in the first one.

Unfortunately, I have been having weird problems with the game. On level 2 the game makes my computer turn off. I think it might be overheating something because I have to turn off the power supply for a few seconds to get the computer to run again. Why a old game like GTA2 would be overheating my computer, I don't know.

I tired to ask in the forum if anyone else has had this problem but not a single person has answered. This is a first for me, even if my forum post is really stupid then at least someone answers.

Oh well, I guess I'm going to have to use a cheat code to get to the next level, even though that will take the fun out of a lot of the game. This is because there is no cheat code to skip a single level, just one to get all of the levels. Now I won't be able to legitly get all of the levels through blood sweat and tears.

Since I'm going to have to use that code, I think I might try to reinstall the game first. Wish me luck.

First Review

I did it, I managed to write a decent game review for Call of Duty 2! I noticed one spelling mistake and can't change it now but I think I did alright. I guess I'll see if people are liking it or hating it.

Writing is not my forte.

I wish I where a better writer. I've tried to write several reviews of games but each time I've failed miserably. In high school I failed 2 of 4 of my English classes and had to re-do them. I'm great at math but just can't be taught the ability to write a simple essay or critique. If only I had a brain.

DDRing

Ah, off work at last. Got two days off I plan on playing DDR like crazy. I really like the new system in DDRE.

More DDRing.

I really have to play more DDR but after work and playing with my daughter I'm pretty much exhausted. At work I'm on my feet and running around and don' t have much time to sit down but I still need more acrobatic exercise. Once the weather is nicer I can bike to work again. I need the energy I had when I was 18. Man, this sucks, I'm already growing old. But I'm determined to get more exercise so I'm promising myself to DDR for at least an hour today.

DDRing again

I've started to DDR again because I've been getting over weight due to lack of exercise. I borrowed DDRExtreme just to see how it is and so far I like it. Unfortunately the music isn't as good but I do like the Exercise Mode. Previous DDR's had Exercise Mode as a separate section in the game where it would count the calories burned but did not progress in the Game Mode at all. In Extreme, you turn it on and then play Main Game. When you finish a song the calories burned will be displayed under your grade of that song. If you wish to view your daily, overall and progress stats just go to Exercise Mode in the main menu again. This adds a little extra bit of a challenge to the Main Game as you try to beat previous high records of calories burned on that day. To anyone looking to lose a bit of weight and enjoys DDRing, I'd recommend it.
