[QUOTE="Ankleslam101"]

I need a few new games before later this year, so which games are excellent within my following likings: Please leave a reasonable price, (20$ or below.)

JRPGS - Crave
Horror - Love (Silent Hill, Fatal Frame =D)
Beat-Em'-Ups: Love
Platformers - Love
FPS - Like
TPS - Ok
RPGS - Ok
Fighting - N/A (I Suck, but they are good... -Shrugs.)
Racing - Dislike (Unless Arcade like. Burnout, Flat Out)
Card Games - Dislike
SRPGS - Hate
RTS - Hate
Sports - Will never play one, ever... EVER!

Also I just finished Oblivion, Prey, and Bioshock. In order Bioshock > Oblivion > Prey.

I love sci-fi/anime stuff too, I don't got many games. (14) Looking for more games in my collection. (Xbox 360 has about 634 games, there must be 1/3 exccelent... 1/10?)

CNUrGames

Mass Effect and Dead Space

I already own Mass Effect, so I'll go ahead and check out Dead Space. Thanks.

We all know about the Gamespot reviewers, and they sure do a fascinating job at times. However there are some people, including me, that like viewing users opinion. Do you have someone who you ultimately trust, or is it just random for you?

Thanks for the suggestions. Is MadWorld any good? Also I see that Red Steel: 10.00 and Tenchu Shadow Assassins: 15.00 are on sale. (Along with Boom Blox Party Bash: 30.00 at Bestbuy.) Are these titles any good? I need a more keen eye between shovelware (correct term? Chicken Shoot, Ninjabread Man) then the real prizes. xP.

I've had a Wii since it came out but because I've been such a cheap bastard I haven't purchased many games for my Wii. (I'm kind of sick waiting for 50$ Nintendo games to drop too, so go ahead and recommend them.) Go ahead and recommend wiiware games as well.

Genres that I appreciate: Beat' Em Up, always been a fan. Shooters, I own a 360... However I do like rail gun shooters. Fighting games, I suck at them badly but this doesn't take the fun out of experimenting. Or does it? Racing, just don't pick out the boring ones like for example Nascar 09 and Forza Motorsport 2 on the 360. I love Burnout however.

Genres I don't like: Sports, never been a sports fan. Puzzle Games, never really liked them in the first place. Too boring/hard for my lazy brain. Party games are a no go, I don't really have many people around here that would play the wii with me. Do not like Music Games either, they cost too much... Way too much. Also I don't like games like Cooking Mama or Trauma Center.

Also, I just tried the PC World of Goo... It's alright, I had fun, but I was stuck already on the swamp frog level.

I rarely buy games b/c i never have the time to play games. now it's summer and i'm going all out, spending a full 60 bucks or less on a game. which one should it be? i'm looking for a game that would last me a while and will not get boring easily. just comment on what you know about the game and how much you liked it. street fighter IV (is it worth the 60) prototype (is it worth the 60) tales of vesperia (is this game repetitive?) red faction (i didn't like the demo, is there a chance i'll like the real game?) oblivion halo 3 i'm leaning towards prototype but i really don't know if it is worth 60.aLexanderrness

I think Prototype is a worthy purchase out of all those. Tales of Vesperia isn't repetitive, it's just your average JRPG game. (Which I absolutely adore.) Halo 3 still gets played to this day, and I haven't played Street Fighter IV or Prototype. By my eyes, however, Prototype is getting some positive reviews. Oblivion isn't a game I truly liked, along with Fable II. And Street Figher IV seems to me to be a seccondary game... If you get what I'm saying? (Have a multi and story game, story game first... Bah, can't make sense out of this.)

I might get a 360 at the end of this month, depending on if my parents will let me get one, but I need help chhosing a game.

I was thinking about these:

Gear of War

Gears of War 2

Halo 3

Which one do you think I should get? If you have any reccomendations on any other games, please tell me. Thanks!

cguibault

Honestly, out of all of those I would choose Gears of War. It costs 20 dollars cheaper and my friend brings intersting points about the game beating Gears of War 2. But, out of all of those I would choose Call of Duty 4 if you want a good modern FPS. It's the game that got my interest lately, and it's about to release a sequal.

im looking for a good fantasy/horror/action game to rent. i just was looking for a good adventure in that genre didnt know if there were many on xbox. i dont want it to bee a too realism centered game and i want it to be fun. just was wondering.

ImpliedBunny

Adventure game? Well, if you want to look for a horror I would suggest Condemned, people are usually interested into it (never saw why). What I would suggest, rather, is either Dead Rising or Tomb Raider. (Got some good platforms in this game.)

I've played all three games and let me tell you which is better.

MASS EFFECT!

Why? GTA IV did get a turn to the worse. Some people have admitted that Saints Row 2 is by far better then GTAIV. Sometimes proclaimed the new San Andreas on crack, but not as popular. Fable II in my opinion got beated by Fallout 3, and I didn't like Fable II at all. (Combat system messes it up, I like limitations not being able to do anything and everything. More of an Action game in my opinion, not a RPG.) Mass Effect is by far the best of the both, and maybe it's because I'm getting hyped for Mass Effect 2. Also, Mass Effect is cheaper by 20 dollars.

I think the top games coming out this month are Prototype, Red Faction, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.

Here's a gameplay video for each, if you don't know much about MVC2 or Prototype.
