My 360 is connected to a monitor and it's sharing the PC speakers for sound using an RCA-to-minijack adapter which is connected to the line-in slot behind the PC. The sound and everything has been working fine until I noticed now there's no more sound. I checked the connections and everything is in place but there's no sound at all anymore. I went into sound settings and made sure 'listen to this device' is still checked. Sound is working fine on the PC, it's just the 360. It's still detecting that there's a device in the microphone slot and it says it's working fine but there's no sound coming through.

I've only had it connected like this for about a week, I can't tell what the problem is, I hope it's not a faulty wire or some hardware issue. :|

PCs are a generation or more ahead of consoles in terms of hardware but hermits around here love to exaggerate. The actual games themselves don't look all that much better from their console counter-parts. Higher resolution and AA, sure, but nothing jaw dropping like your poll choice says. That's my vote.

I honestly think you're letting SWs get to your head.

The 3DS will do fine.

I agree... You're starting to care a little too much. You're seriously panicking? Relax.

This x1000, chill out. Seriously scared...? LOL.

First off, it was a joke. Secondly I made a completely sensible statement there. Wouldn't you agree based on past experience that the Vita is more likely to turn out to be a 'port machine' rather than the 3DS years down the road? It's just an educated guess, I'm not bashing the Vita... I want one. :P

Still does not make an argument for how this game is anything but a graphics updated port of the original.Bread_or_Decide

Definition of port: Converting an existing game with existing graphics engine to a console it was not originally developed for.

Definition of remake: RECREATING an existing game world specifically for a console it was not originally developed for.

It's really not hard to understand. Completely scrapping and redesigning the textures and look of the game is something being remade, overhauled, changed... remake. I know you have some kind of pessimistic attitude towards the 3DS for whatever reason but there's actually more logic in calling the Vita a soon to be port machine since that's exactly what the PSP was.

I see through your veil, hidden Sony fanboy. :P

Ah, this is great news! I love the fighting game genre, I'm glad the 3DS is getting some love from Ono.. Please make it happen! My 360 is RROD and unfortunately the Wii is generally ignored in this category. I haven't played on a console in a long while, just PC lately and now finally with the 3DS I can get back into it. :D

I just want SSFIV DLC for the Arcade Edition content (Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu, balance tweaks etc.) Yoshinori Ono said it's a possibility if enough people wanted it. Apparently they couldn't include it in from the start due to time constraints (more like they didn't want to take hype away from AE edition coming to consoles).

Think 3D isn't important to gameplay? Think again.

Though the 3D effect certainly applies to gameplay in a critically different way than a Wii Remote or touch control, it nevertheless changes the way a game is played. It changes the way a gamer is able to perceive the worlds created by developers. It's different than pressing A or swinging a device to hit a ball, but it's important nonetheless. Just as increased graphics afford developers the ability to change environments and levels, so does the ability to add greater depth.
