That idea makes no sense. Bb phones are made to integrate with the is. Android on bb would cause major problems and make them irrelevant anyway. Why doesn't Rim try using android on there new phones instead? They would become more relevant again probably. Not as relevant as samsung, HTC,etc but they could atleast be at a start.

But I can download movies above 1080p which bluesy cannot do, and your main argument in your post is ONLY picture quality.[QUOTE="Another2days"][QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"]
I have never seen a downloaded video that had quality equalling that of blu-ray. Think about the amount of data on a blu-ray disc. That have massive capacity. Now think about the file size of a movie that you can download/stream. It's not even close.
Yes, downloadable video will eventually move to a standard higher than what blu-ray can provide, but we are years away from that. Eventually we will get to where you can stream or download 4k videos with high-quality audio. That is when Blu-ray will be obsolete. For now, it is definitely the best way to get the highest quality video and audio for movies and such.

Where can you download movies above 1080p? What screen do you watch them on? What video format do they use? Also, blu-ray has superior audio quality as well.
You got me at audio quality, the only devices I have researched that surpass it significantly is sou d are those computers with integrated beats audio and those cosy MAC levels.[QUOTE="Another2days"][QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"]But I can download movies above 1080p which bluesy cannot do, and your main argument in your post is ONLY picture quality. Which this is 2012, and tech experts are having side by side comparisons where something above 1080p looks better than bluesy. What you say is true but only if both are at 1080p, please do research. Downloaded videos are compressed. a 4k downloaded movie is going to have way more artifacts and jaggies than an uncompressed 1080p blu ray. Blu ray video/audio quality is FAR less compressed than anything you can download. Please do some research.I have never seen a downloaded video that had quality equalling that of blu-ray.
