fanboys like you piss me off so much, those pictures you saw were all pre-alpha. killzone 2 might have nice graphics, but it's a **** game - lets be honest, you PS3 fanboys base your arguments on graphics, but i will GUARANTEE you, no, sack that, i will BET you Reach will absolutely own killzones gameplay, sales, reviews, lifespan, multiplayer, 'n most probably your belove graphics.

No problem, also - we have no clue if Master Chief will make an appearance or not as of now, but IMHO, I guess he will. This is Bungies last Halo before they pass ownership over, so it might be a shame for the most iconic character in the series not to turn up in Reach. Fingers crosse!
You play as Noble 6 (Lonewolf), a Spartan 3 - not as powerful as Master Chief, who was a Spartan 2.
You act as a replacement for the 6th member of the team who died in combat, Noble team consists of 6 Spartan 2's on a mission to save the UNSCs biggest millitary base from being glassed by the covenant. Reach is set before HALO: CE, and at this point in time Masterchief is in the Pillar of Autumn, ready to be evacuated to where he begins his journey (Halo 1/2/3).
Hope I was some help, I'm tired and so I apologise if that was unclear. I am, of recent, a complete Halo Reach nerd, so feel free to ask me anything about it!
It's like this for every game: Early screens do not equal final look. Games like Perfect Dark Zero and God of War 3 are perfect examples of this. You would have to be lazy not to improve graphics with all those months.:P
This is still great news though.

Haha, yup it is great news - i can't wait and this is by far my most anticipated game this year; here's to bungie pulling it off!
I recently went onto the Neogaf forums where people were also worrying about the graphics on Halo: Reach prompting Urk (a Bungie.net employee) to say something along the lines of:
The pictures were taken before Thanksgiving and that the latest build made him shed a tear.
So guys, i'm pretty sure we have nothing to worry about!

The build we used for the current crop of assets was cooked pre-Thanksgiving. Lots of work's been done since then and there's plenty more on the horizon. Wish I could show off the build I was bopping around in today. Soon.
He also writes on the Bungie.net forums and I quote:
Ain't in alpha yet. Coming in hot, though. :)
it's not even in alpha yet, i think i speak for everyone when I say that's pretty damn impressive.
