Hope you all had a good Easter :) I got to play more Oukyuu Yasoukyoku *heart*

Ooh, for some reason this time I earned myself the "Confess How I Feel" heart. Neat. If your confession is successful then you get to call the person by a user inputted nickname (I don't really think this is a spoiler. I think it's gameplay). So with Sieg, the input field already had "Jii" (which is the first two characters in the Japanese spelling of "Sieg"...)...so I added "-tan" (which is a cutesy ending you can add to make names nicknames in Japanese...yep...Aotan is Ao, which is the first syllable of my whole name, and tan is just a cutesy ending. Tee hee.)...which makes "Jiitan"...which is also means "Grampa" XD It's a perfect fit, isn't it?

This nickname makes some of the lines really funny. "Jiitan/Grampa, what's wrong? "Jiitan/Grampa, I love you."

...I wonder...am I the only one who kind of wishes that Fran was a capture-able character? ...and who also wants a yaoi ending with Sieg and Fran? They seem to hint at a "special" relationship between the two...so why not take it a step further? After all Gekka Hyoujin is the company who brought you yuri in an otome game (Toiro Komachi).

But that girl, Cossette, is just like her brother Edward, isn't he? Her dress is hideous :P And who is Austin to come into the princess's room late at night all the time anyway?

I'm finding it a lot easier to repeat this game than Last Escort...which I still need to finish someday :P It is a bit repetitive, but I think that's the nature of SLG's. Even Tokimeki can get tedious when you replay for the umpteenth time. Still, I'm still aiming for 100% capture on this one! It's going to take me longer than I initially thought, though.

I *think* I've got all the stills for Cain and Sieg. I'm working on Rodel now, because he's the only one who'd accept my candy at the point I'd saved...and intended to save time and get all the guys with, but it didn't work for most of them :P I got an ending with Edgar, but it wasn't the "best" ending or something and the CGs for it didn't save :*( I tried to get Sieg and Astrud to be jealous of each other but I gave up. Maybe only Cain gets jealous? I like Cain the best of all the characters so far. I thought I'd like Sieg the best, but he's kind of...too emo. I'm thinking about saving Liou for last because he's probably got the most interesting arc.

Speaking of which, I'm running the game in Vista with Win XP compatibility mode, but the game crashes at the endings a lot :P I think this has something to do with running it in Vista. I remember their other game, Toiro, had bugs in Vista, too. I did install both Oukyuu patches so I'm at ver. 1.02, but I'm still getting the problems with the crashing at the endings...but if you save and then run through the ending again, it will play fine. It's just kind of annoying :P

[spoiler] Wierd end. Cain just got stabbed through the heart? Edgar says he wasn't going to make it because of the amount of blood. Then Cain gets up and notices his wound...Edgar starts asking what Cain is and Cain screams and then it rolls into the credits? There wasn't an ending CG, just that the Princess told everyone at the celebration for the founding of the nation the truth. She, Cain and Seig were driven from the castle...and cannot find a place anywhere in the nation...and since that night Cain would not utter a word, nor respond to any stimuli. [/spoiler]
