It's been a while! I haven't had time to play games for a while (or write about them) but I finally got to play some more Ijiwaru My Master yesterday *heart* Free time is nice!
I happened to look at the Mirai page on Sunday and they'd updated the Jingi Naki Otome Fan Disk - Koi Koi Zanmai page! The release date is 6.27.08! Yay! It will include:
1. "Another Story"
So this might be the one where Asou-san disappears and they go broke? Yep, it seems like it :)
2. "After Story"
So I assume this will be a parallel universe thing like the Under the Moon Fan Disk - Tsukiiro Ehon? Oh, this could mean...Yasu's story?!
3. Drama CD
I didn't really like drama CDs before, but I get why they are so popular in Japan now. It's hard to watch a show or anime or something while doing your homework and stuff, but it's easy to listen to a drama CD while doing your homework! So well, now I'm into drama CDs :) Multitasking is a lovely thing, eh? Oh, so this is a good thing :)4. Desktop Accessories
Desktop Accessories are my favorite parts of fan disks *heart* I love wall papers and Windows sound bytes *squee* I think I might put Mutou-sensei on this computer...or the laptop. Not sure. Right now I have Kyle on this computer...*blush*
...and then my copy of the June Issue of B's Log came yesterday so *hearts* I'll do a review of the mag later but for now since they had a bit on Koi Koi Zanmai, I thought I'd write about it in this entry. They included shots of three CGs from the fandisk:
1. Yasu
Yasu is capture-able now *pats back, good guess, self!*! It looks like he's the uke (submissive) and Saki's the seme (aggressor). I bet his story wil be really sweet. Basically what they say about his new story is that he always does his best for and has idolized her, but never reveals how he feels. You'll get to see a shy Yasu here and they tell you to watch out for the instant when their relationship changes from boss-underling to one of love!
2. Ichirou Mutou
Mutou-sensei looks a bit more like Asou-san than lazy Mutou-sensei in this CG. The caption mentions that a certain event has changed his personality and he's looking pretty serious!
3. Jin Haitani
They're playing doctor in this CG, and Haitani-sensei is the patient...uh, they're a really silly couple aren't they?
There's no CGs for the following but a short sentence or two about their new story lines. Here's some loose translations:
4. Ryuu Nayuta
Ryuu and Saki have always gotten along and covered for one another, but they fight over something stupid and love begins to bloom?!5. Yoshiyuki Asou
Asou-san buys a large hospital and starts to change the way it's managed. Something strange comes out of his examination...you'll experience a quiet love quite different from the original game.6. Keigo Amane
Keigo and Saki are surrounded by ruffians.. This is the catalyst that changes how Keigo feels. You'll get to enjoy the pure, sweet love that you'd expect from him.7. Taisei Kitagawa
Saki hears that Kitawaga-san is going to meet someone about an arranged marriage. Saki, who can't relax (after hearing about this), but Kitagawa-san will give you an a love busting with the allure of adulthood.
Hmm...Kitagawa-san? Technically he was capture-able last time, but you didn't like...there weren't any H scenes for him? Hmm...a bit uncomfortable...but curious all the same! I think it's really great that they're going to give Keigo a sweet, pure love :) Like Keigo-Keigo love, not Keigo-Lethe love like last time. He didn't really get a really sweet Keigo-like ending before did he?
I still wonder if fandisks come from leftover scenes that they couldn't finish in time for the original game...but it looks like Tami Joe was working on a lot of new stuff for it, so maybe that's not the case all the time? I can't wait for this to come out :) I really liked all the characters in Jingi Naki Otome. Mirai has such great storylines all the time.

On the gaming front...because this isn't just a news blog :) It's an "I love Otome Games" type of blog :) (Sometimes I forget about that though. Sometimes it feels like I have to write about news or do a translation or something)...I got all of Lucas' endings but I can't figure out to get two of his CGs...so it looks like I might not be able to write a walkthrough with this game because I can't get all the CGs :P But I'll try my best...oh yeah, I have to go and rewrite an Evans walkthrough, huh?
Lucas's story is rather short compared to like Evans or Delta. I was a little surprised. Lucas is really cute, though :) I have to admit his s.l.o.w. s.p.e.e.c.h. is kind of annoying but you get used it it? It gets better after a while, so don't worry too much about that.
I didn't finish Delta...but now I'm going for Eins. I *so* love Daisuke Kishio's voice. I like the sweet endings so I always try to go for them first. I'm working out a new way to help me keep track of things in Excel, so that I can take a look at the "whole" picture and figure out how to get the missing CGs now...
There's a bit of Toiro Syndrome (TM) in the CGs this time around. During the non-CG parts of the game, their shoulders aren't so broad, but they get really broad in the CGs and the characters look a little older, too. Eins is so gorgeous in the CGs I've seen so far *dreamy sigh* I wish my boy's hair was long and flowy like that! It's so romantic *more dreamy sighs*
[spoiler] *** What I Noticed *** It seems when there are three choices in Ijiwaru, one is for one character, another character, an and then a bad end. When there are two choices...then it has something to do with getting enough "points" for the character or not. That's what I've noticed so far. *** About Lucas *** He doesn't have a mean streak at all...there's only one semi-mean? scene in his night route. So if you like pure love/romance then Lucas is the guy for you :) ...and Evans is so not the guy for you :P [/spoiler]
