another problem I just removed the game and its like 6.6gigs and I had 3.7gigs before now I only have 4.7 gigs left?

Manually deleting programs is a bad idea. Going to add/remove programs and trying from there if the uninstall option doesn't work might work.

If you manually deleted your game check the recycle bin, it might need emptying as that's more than likely where your deleted game went to

As far as I know, you can't continue the campaign when you're done with the last mission. You have to restart, which is retarded since the last mission gives the player quite a bit of wargear.

aliblabla2007

Once you finish the last mission it makes 2 save games.

1) Saved after final battle and you can watch the ending again

2) Just prior to last mission so you can go back and try to get more wargear.

I was also disappointed that I didn't ever get to use the war gear I acquired in the last mission, Still I had a blast with the single player campaign.

The Witcher - haven't played this yet, but I'm skeptical when people say it's a great game. Haven't played Gothic series and the only thing that I've played which comes close is Oblivion. Comparing the two, I feel, doesn't do justice to either game. I'll get around to this, but action/ RPG games for me need solid gameplay not story.

Baldurs Gate 2- never bothered after I couldn't get into the first. Maybe they improved the core mechanics, but the combat system wasn't my style. Add to that I played the first one 10+ years ago, maybe a second go now that I'm older will help me to appreciate it more.

The Witcher has a great story and consequences to your actions.

The gameplay of Oblivion felt pretty terrible to me, the entire levelling scheme (and levelling enemies) was horrible.

BG2 had both great combat and great story, I've just restarted a game after not playing for 7yrs and it's still amazing, though the graphics are dated, I hardly notice due to amazing gameplay.

There were no killing sprees or wars pre video games. True story!

It's been 4 days since I decided to sacrifice this MMO for 40 days. I heard it was addictive, but it's ridiculous how I miss my PvP and my raids. I don't want to disobey my Lord, so any suggestions on how to put it off my head will be appreciated.Benjamin-T

For me WotLK broke PvP and made raids completely easy mode. I quit a few weeks ago. I suggest hitting up a decent single player RPG like the Witcher to keep you occupied. I've also been playing some L4D, COD4 and DOW2 in the mean time and haven't really considered going back.

Yeah on the trial version I played in all the classes for a very small amount of time. I think paladin is a solid choice. Thanks.Delro333

If you're going to level up together you are better selecting a non-plate class so you aren't competing for drops in instances. Pick someone who can heal and then your mate can tank and you just need 3dps to do dungeons (lots easier to find than tanks/healers). My main for 3yrs was a shammy so i'm biased, though a druid or priest could go well too. You don't need to be spec'd heals to heal, just need some decent int and sp gear and do it in your offspec.

right now, vista sucks because it's newer.

HOWEVER

you can expect it to, over time, get updates where it will eventually surpass XP.

in the shortrun, XP is better.

but in the longrun, you MIGHT want vista.

im_really_rich

Vista has been around for 2yrs, if they haven't got it working efficiently now they never will. It makes my GFs laptop chug in windows, in game it's ok but not great. I still use XP64 and it works great unless you want to play games >5yrs old as some of them won't install (only one I've found was Vampire the Masquerade)

Taurens are the same speed as any other race, it's just that WoW is really slow without a mount (at least you can get them at lvl 30 now not 40). Be thankful you have a travel mode in your class to help speed things up.

WoW levelling can be boring, but the 1st time through for me (like 4yrs ago) was still fun as it was all new and we didn't know what to expect when we got to 60. I've now levelled 4 chars to 70+ and I'm over it. Doing the same boring quests 4 times doesn't make me a better player, it's just a time sink. To quicken things up, make sure you install Quest Helper, it's a very good mod.

Anyway WoW doesn't become really enjoyable until max level when you can do proper PvP and arena (which they broke even more in WotLK) and raid (which is way too easy in WotLK). The game has become too easy for most as they tried to make it so more people could see the content, but then they made it 80 levels of grinding to get there. People pugging Naxx25 the first few weeks of the expansion means it's too easy and there is no incentive to log in for me and strive to improve my characters so that I can kill the next boss.

I quit a few weeks ago and have been enjoying some good single player games I had sitting on the sides like the Witcher and some multiplayer games like L4D, COD4 and DoW2. It's amazing how much time you can devote to one game and miss a whole lot of other great games.

To answer your question, rolling a DK might be more enjoyable for you (the first few lvls of DK levelling are great story wise), but the actual game play may or may not suit your style. There's 10 classes for a reason, and there's usually one there that will suit you.

Best part of this thread is the people that love Oblivion give no solid reason, while the people that love Witcher give solid intelligent reasons.

Oblivion is RPG lite. It pretends to be an RPG by having skill points and levels and "classes" but they have very little impact on the game. Same as many of your actions which have very little impact on the outcome of the game. It's as much an RPG as Bioshock (ie not very much of one)

The Witcher on the other hand can have many different outcomes depending on choices made by the player. Moral choices and you can play a role, be an ass or saviour to certain groups.

Combat in Oblivion was terrible too, how about some options in whether I am making a hard hitting less likely to hit attack or a light attack. Even Elder Scrolls: Arena had this. How about some special moves or different stances. Nope it's all swing block swing block.

Talk about repetitive too "Oh can I please go turn off a few more almost identical Oblivion Gates". I wish developers would concentrate more on quality not quantity.
