Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles DS

So, there was alot of hype going around about Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles DS and judging by the screenshots that I saw and the information I saw about it, I thought that it just might be a good game. Although I have never playing the console versions of Assassin's Creed I thought I would go out and look for it on Tuesday morning, and being that I live closest to a Meijer than any other store I thought I would drop in to check if they had it. Now, my local Meijer store releases electronics before there schedualed release date alot, I have seen many DVD's there before there schedueled release date and a handful of games, but anyways I did not check earlier so I do not know if it was released earlier than the schedualed release date being as it was just shipped a little while before I picked it up. So anyways I walked down the games aisle and looked at all of the DS games underneath the glass and there were about 5-7 copies of the game on the shelf. So, I asked to see the game (Even though I had already known what it read on the back and front becuase of the pictures on the internet.) and I knew it was going to be $30 and I was sort of on the fence about buying it, but I did anyways.

If you would like to know what I thought about the game, feel free to read my review. It was fun while it lasted and I do recommend it for any fan of Assassin's Creed or Historic Action Adventure games.

Read Reviews Before a Purchase

I went out a couple days before Christmas and knew that Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am for the PS2 had been released. I love the show so much that I thought that if I had any chance at getting this game I would take it because I knew it would be a hard one to find. After stopping at 3-4 previous stores I didn't see it. I walked into a GameStop and there on the shelf was one last copy of it. In this rush I quickly grabbed it off the shelf and went to buy it; the cashier said to me that this was the last one, that made me feel good about this $30 game purchase because I knew it was somewhat a rare game. I got home and played it for about 2 hours, I thought to myself that this can't be right, I thought this game should be better than this. So then I went and checked out the reviews on GameSpot.com and it read "3.5", I felt so bad about this I didn't even want to look at the game again. I quickly went and looked in the bag for the receipt; It read that no returns would be accepted for new games without shrinkwrap, After all of this I felt so bad but I knew I was stuck with the game so I went to play it again. This time it was different though because I wasn't expecting so much and it really didn't turn out to be that bad of a game I ended up giving it a 6/10 rating.
