television and anime con in London 19th July 2009

I have been with a friend to the TV and Comics show in Earls court 2 in London last weekend and it was really interesting.

I would have never imagined that such a world exists where one can meet the likes of Scott Bakula and get an autograph. Of course one has to queue and pay 25 pounds (Not ready to do that yet) but for a mere 5 GBP one can see the likes of him from a distance. Funny thing is that there were also actors such as Jason Kogan (he plays Spock as a child in Star trek the film) and Jake Lloyd whho played Anakin Skywalker in Star wars 1 (now well beyond his childhood) or the actor that played Terminator 1 and 2. So I wondered who much money they make out of such conventions...some money for sure or?

My friend was there to report on the Twilight actors on her fan blog and the twilight italian fan site so I managed to pass of as a press person and sit on the floor watching people asking questions to the likes of Justin Chon by not so much screaming women, teen-agers and children.

Madness apart for me the best part was the ANIME section where I found some interesting gadgets and much to my surprise the presence of Chris Achilleos, an artist I like very much and that I could meet in person. There was also a section of the fair for cos play (the best event of the all convetion imho) and a part with computers and arcade games *** inspired. The best was to look at people playing Rock band (never played that one but it looks like fun) or the dance dance revolution.

I will definitively go next summer to the convention and yes I will bring my camera and maybe also dress up...

Me and WoW

Since at least several months I have been playing World of Warcraft. I am now a level 44 elf warrior herbalist/alchemist.

This game has sucked any spare time I have and although I am slow at levelling up I have been playing steadily and going back to it more than any other game I ever played.

I am also playing Fable II but only now and then since if I do I have to listen to my boyfriend whinging and whining because he cannot see TV (I only have a TV at our place).

Also our 23 inches tv is rather small and it is about time for an upgrade. Maybe when and if we buy a new place then the tv will receive the make over solution.

As for my Nintendo DS I did not touch it in months. I am a sucker for good graphics so I prefere my PSP lately. There I have been playing the awesome Star Ocean second departure and I have to say that I love the game.

I cannot wait to get my hands on Star Ocean Last hope for the XBOX 360.

Well let's see how long it will take me to get to level 70 on the server I am playing WOW on.

XBOX 360 VS PS3 and those handheld consoles

Since 1 month I am the proud owner of an XBOX 360 and a Nintendo DS.

I have barely had a look at my PSP anymore since buying the NDS. I am currently playing Pokemon Diamond and although I expected it to be a game for children I am totally addicted to it!!!

The XBOX 360's graphics are fantastic and although I was thinking if I should get a PS3 until the very end the line up of games available for XBOX 360 is just so amazing that I fastly put all my doubts aside.

I am currently playing Gundam Dinasty warriors in the XBOX 360 and I am also starting to play Zelda the phantom hourglass on the NDS...still I can also play GAMEBOY ADVANCE games andI am rapidly falling in love with Astro Boy Omega factor...a real treat for Osamu Tezuka fans like me.

Well that's all for now. Happy new year to everybody.

Hack gu rebirth

Today after 35 hours of gameplay I finished my first game ever. HACK GU REBIRTH and I CANNOT wait until they release number 2.

I have started dozens of games but this is the first one I ever finish probably because it was quite easy . Now I can start concentrating again on Shin Megami Tensei  Nocturne, one of the most difficult games I ever played and continue playing Jewel summoner on PSP.

I love hack gu but to beat the final boss it took me ages...now I can look forward to many more hours of enjoyment
