"There's something in the air". Is it disappointment?

Thats the tag line for Apple's MacWorld 08. "There's something in the air". In case you haven't realized, Apple is the biggest influence in the consumer market. They have the whole ipod/itunes ecosystem monopoly and soon to take over iphone. Well tomorrow, Steve Jobs (Apple CEO and God to all apple fanboys) will be presenting his annual Keynote. And i have to be honest here, his keynotes are very exticting to not only apple fanboys but Technogly fans, because apple just has this vibe that makes them the "cool" part of the technogly world.

Now I'm not saying that Microsoft isn't "cool" but they don't need to be. Microsoft took over and changed the computer industry without having to be "cool" (by changed i mean how they made every1 realize it was the software that did it all). Apple took over the mp3 market because, well i'd like to say they were diffrent than the other mp3 companies but it was b/c every1 saw how they were cool. Now do you think the average person thinks or may even know that apple take over the mp3 market b/c they were the only company that had the right software and service at the time (yeah i know run-on sentence, sorry). Well ppl buy ipods b/c they look cool and every1 around them say its the best. That is exactly why Apple took over that market. I have a feeling the same will happen for iphone.Well Maybe, its a very different market.

Anyways so that brings us to MacWorld (somehow :P).What will happen? I don't know but expect a few surprised here and there. Macworld or even apple alone don't affect the gaming industry. I think we'll se some sort of wireless technogly or form for Apple TV. It fits in with the tagline i guess. But whatever it is its got to be wireless. Now lets hope Macworld doesn't disapoint like CES did this year.

**Edit**: In case you intertested, Steve's keynote will happen tomorrow January 15th 2008. To see it or read it i suggest Cnet.com but Apple.com should have the Quicktime video version of the entire keynote.
