Metroid Prime 3 gets reviewed on GS, gets a score of...

... 8.5.

I'm not going to go into this deep long rant on the score of MP3:C, you that will get it (or ones that already has it) already know how I feel about this score... forget that, I am going into a small rant.

First I just want to give a few quotes from other places that gave MP3:C above 8.0.

IGN: Score 9.5/10.
"as far as we're concerned, the Texas-based studio [Retro Studios] has made Wii's best game."

GameTrailers: Score 9.6/10.
"There's no better control option on any console ... You'll never want want to play a shooter with dual-analog sticks again, it's that good."

1UP: Score 9.0/10.
"No predictions for six years down the road this time, just one for this fall: load a fresh pair of batteries into the controller, dust off the Wii, and surrender a week of your life to Corruption - you won't be sorry."

GameDaily: Score 9.0.
"and this revolutionary first-person adventure with tight controls will easily be one of 2007's best games."

Nintendo Power: Score 10/10.
No quote on this one, but it should be noted that MP3:C is only one of a few games that got a perfect score. Not even The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time got a perfect score from Nintendo Power.

But as said, GameSpot as once again gave a Wii game a low score. For me, tonight was just a big flash back to the night GS reviewed Twilight Princess and gave half of the GS users a heartattack. I'm not surprised, not one bit by this score. And to add to what was said...
This is from the review of MP3:C here on GS.
"the Wii controls are terrific and intuitive", that's pretty good, something that sounds good.... oh wait... they also say "Streamlined controls make things a little too easy and a little less adventurous". Uh... the controls are perfect yet the controls make things too easy... uh... so it gets a lower rating because the controls are pretty much perfect? I'm a little confused here... So I'll just move on...
"Corruption offers its own formula tweaks while staying true to its roots, and like the previous games in the Prime series, it sends you on an atmospheric journey of discovery and enjoyable boss fights.", yea MP3:C sticks close to home but adds some new things to it..... uh... "Doesn't do much different than the previous two Metroid Prime games."... you just... said it sticks close to it's roots... and now you say it's not different enough? Is this like the time you said LoZ:TP was too much like a Zelda game?
And since I was talking about BioShock before... This is at the end of the MP3:C review "While the lack of multiplayer is disappointing". Now I look at BioShock, it got a 9.0. But it has NO multiplayer, no online, and isn't even talked about in the GS review. If BioShock has no multiplayer, and MP3:C has no multiplayer yet gets a lower score because of it (at least one of the reasons), well I see something wrong.

But like I said, I'm not surprised by what GS said and gave MP3:C. For all of you that thought MP3:C was going to get over 9.0... well you were dreaming or you didn't know GS well enough. For all of us that said "8.0 or 8.5", we were right.

And since I'm on scores. I'm going to make a prediction on a game. This game isn't out yet, this game comes out in 29 days, this game has a fancy Launch Center, this game will get a 9.5 or perfect 10 (my money is on 9.5), this game won't see the light of 9.0 or below on GameSpot, this game had 2 before it, this game is a shooter, this game is called Halo 3.
