First review is up

I decided to try my hand at reviewing I reviewed the PC version of Blacklight: tango down, though I accidentally put it in the 360 category Its here at: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/blacklight/player_review.html?id=729496

wheres the Necromancer when you need him? (Part 1)

Despite to my knowledge that readership of this blog is absolute zero as I am writing this....I decided to put a list of old games I would LOVE to see some quality studio do justice and bring it back to its former glory (this does not count if a game is already in development to my knowledge although there is one exception to the rule.... Warning: Possible fanboyish daydreaming while typing) Homeworld: For those who dont know what this game is....Its an RTS set in space..the Main selling point was the fact that combat took place in Space...thus you had to take up and down into account rather than the old XZ (side and foreward) plane like most RTS games today, Formations actually played a MAJOR role and intelligent management of formations and ships would win the day...your resources carried on from mission to mission in singleplayer....the only real drawback to the game was that apart from art style...the two factions used the same ships (with two exceptions) just diffrent designs although 2 was a good game in its own right still 1 was really something special....I have yet to play cataclysm (it indeed looked very EPIC!). Although mabye its just me...I personaly think they should go the Final Fantasy route...you know...similar themes...diffrent universe....a bunch of changed details but not enough to deract of what it is..cause as far as I'm concerned Karen S'jet's Story was done in Homeworld 1...mabye thats why its not in development.....or the fact that Activision-Blizzard Has no heart (vivendi owned Serra..who had publishing rights to homeworld and to my understanding the liscense for homeworld rests with Activision after they merged with Vivendi) Mechwarrior: the One exception....Smith and Tinker was supposed to be doing something though I heard it ran into some legal trouble with some anime publishing company... For those of you who don't know what Mechwarrior is, Mechwarrior is a Simulation game about Piloting Walking Tanks of Mass Destruction. the Strengths of the game was the layers of customization on your mechs and a Deep universe which was crafted before as a Tabletop game but It fit well with the game (MW2 at least) Source (game): http://pc.ign.com/articles/100/1002164p1.html Source (legal trouble): http://pc.ign.com/articles/102/1021438p1.html God help them... Freespace: Freespace is a Space combat Sim..while there wasn't much noteworthy about it in terms of features....it was just a fine game in its own right...the controls were pitch perfect and for its time, beautiful graphics...however with the decline of interest of the space combat sim game (WHY OH WHY?!?!?!) I think this one is dead for now.... With the recent (relatively recent that is) revival Of Interplay, they seem to be interested in their current MMO project though Freespace better be on their checklist (according to their site, it looks like they still got the rights though I dont know if thats true....)

Hello World!

well first things first....I am a Human...Male....near psychotic at times....horrendus grammar and writing skills...and A Noob Game Programmer (Blitz, in case anyone is wondering) I am a PC/Nintendo Breed..raised on Homeworld...Mechwarrior...Age of Empires...Mario and Star Fox were the games of choice in my youth (a funny collaboration...now that I think about it...) Nowadays...I still am a PC guy but I do Like the 360...Nintendo thankfully resurrected interest this E3....the PS3....nice...though I'm fine with my PC and 360 Favortie Genres: the Trifecta of FPS, RTS, and RPG (though platformer comes CLOSE in here) and thats all I can think about.....any questions?
