You seem to be assuming that the Lets play would be all PVE grinding.

Like i stated i intend on bringing this character to low security space the moment he has the skill points for it..

I would rather chew rusty nails than mine to be quite honest.

And obviously there would be some cuts.  I would not make people watch as i spend 15 minutes traveling 30 jumps through space for example.

Ok now here is the deal. I have seen quite a lot of Eve lets plays online and i've heard a lot comments and reviews off the game that seem largely based off missunderstandings.

Now i am by no means some Eve mastermind but i have been playing it for quite a while now and i am a part of a rather successful group. Do you guys think anyone would want to watch a lets play i make with a brand new character?

The things i've already thought off that i would like to address in the lets play are as follows.

"Eve takes too much investment to get into, you have to play it like a second job to get into it" - This just isn't true and i would like to show how far you can get with just playing the game a few hours a week.

"You have to grind grind grind to get anywhere in the game" - While it is true that the games PVE has some grind i would like to show alternative ways to get money that don't require you to grind.

"The gameplay is repetitive and boring" - Almost all the lets plays i've seen so far have been entirely shot in high security space, entirely avoiding all PVP. Seeing how i am mainly a pvp player i would like to venture into those areas early on in the series (although not right away since SOME minimal skill up is required to not just die endlessly)

And then come my questions.

What other things have you heard said about Eve online that you would like me to address?

What questions do you have about the game in general if you havn't played it.

If you have played it what were the things that confused you or bothered you? Or areas of the game you wanted to try but didn't really know how to get into?

I need as much feedback as i can to make a quality lets play so absolutely any input would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

Deadpool is my absolute favorite comic book character and i must say that i think this game does him no justice what so ever.

It missunderstands the charm of the comics and the humor, delivering a bastardized version of Deadpools world with awful gameplay.

I don't think he's dumb, he has a point! My first experience with the game was, that I saved at a bonfire before encountering the minotaur boss. Between the bonfire and that minotaur creature is a long way with lots and lots of opponents. When you finally arrive at that freaking minotaur, eventually, you die.. Well I at least did and I'm really sure many other people did too. Maybe it takes two or three times until you figure out how exactly to kill that piece of mud (killing all the mobs between bonfire and boss over and over again...) then after the boss, again, there is no chance to save what you just accomplished... To add to the insult, I have to walk over a bridge with five opponents at the end, I think to myself: Ok, I'll lure them carefully towards me and then .... BOOM suddenly a dragon flyes over me and spits flames all over the bridge and I died.... What the HECK?? THAT's unfair and NOT rewarding sorry, took the game after that and slammed it on the table :)Zensora
fecking casuals... Dark Souls is not unfair.. It just rewards you for not charging straight into everything and instead taking your time and thinking about things.. Like the pine resin you find right before you get to the boss? Why is that there? Well if you had tried using it you would have found out that it lets you take about 1/8th of his health in every blow letting you more or less mindlessly brawl him down. Dark souls was the most rewarding gaming experience i have ever had and i will never look at game difficulty in the same way again.
