Intel Core Duo 2x2.66Mhz, GeForce 8800 612Mb, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD......that is not a cheap PC. At least it wasn't when I got it in 07 november. That cost me $1500 and no...it couldn't run Crysis maxed out. wich came out a few weeks later. I didn't do anything wrong with the PC at all it works fine. But it is already outdated.

Well, your first problem is that the processor is clocked down to 2.66mhz, and also there is no geforce 8800, however there is a 8800GS/GT/GTS/GTX.

It's a GTS

[QUOTE="Ares84G"]I stoped reading at "you need to worry about a $200 upgrade every few years" Yeah right. I got a PC last october for $1500 and it can't even run Crysis maxed out. It can only run it on medium settings. PC is good yes....if you have the money to shell out and the patients to play around with the settings. Personaly I stoped useing PC's as gameing platforms.voodoochild815

You made a new account for that? Maybe you didn't invest your $1500 wisely? Besides do you need to play crysis maxed out to enjoy it?

No....I made an account because I left this site 3 years ago deleted my old account than and now I decided to come back. I did spend my wisely! I got a good PC for that money....but you always have to upgrade your PC every 6 months to be up to date. That's not saying that you can't play games on a 3 year old PC but it won't work like you hopeing for.

Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla gamesParasomniac

And your face as well fanboy!! Those companies made great games so far. You need to get out of gaming because obviously you are not a real gamer but a sad little fanboy!
