Time for an annual update....

What have I been doing in the gaming world? Bouncing all over everything. Tried my hand at several MMORPGs and found it to be somewhat a lonely place. I'm leaning more towards sticking with console games and my surprising passion for FPS. Funny, before Halo 2 I absolutely hated shooters, and loved RPGs....now it's the reverse. The only RPG on the console I liked was Fable 2. Plus, I gravitate more towards co-op games now more than anything. Maybe I'll post more if I feel something is relevant to post.:D

Update needed.

Haven't written in over a year. Well, got GameFly and not looking back, since most games I get I get totally bored with. Playine alot of co-op titles, like Saints' Row 2 and Crackdown.I want to say I've given up on most shooters, if they don't have some kind of co-op, I"m not going to bother, I blame Call of Duty: World at War for this.

Gettin' on the GTA IV train....

I've heard way too much hype about the latest GTA to pass it up. I was surprised, but somewhat not surprised that the game SOLD OUT the first couple of days of its release. Just almost a week after, I've finally gotten it. I've had a need to play a huge sandbox game in between the tactical shooters I have. Looking forward to some of the GTA multiplayer (co-op, of course) once I figure out the basics.

Rainbow Six addiction....

I've caught a lot of flak, (kinda funny) because I said the heck with Call of Duty 4 and traded it in for Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. In my opinion it's got for me what CoD4 lacked. I'm really looking at more co-op functions in the games I now purchase and play. Looking out for the Army of Two DLC and the new Battlefield game. However, Mercenaries 2 is coming, that has co-op, as well as Fable 2 now.

Army of Two and a Rock Band defeat!!!

Picked up Army of Two a day after it's release and really like this game. Played through with a buddy of mine on split screen co-op and beat the Casual setting. I'm looking forward to a second play through.

Also, me and the kids tried the "Endless Setlist" on Rock Band. Wow! 58 song marathon with no way to save and come back. We had less than ten songs left and we bombed out on this song called "Green Grass and High Tides". We need to beat this in the future.

I'm looking at Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 as a possible pick up. The progressive character development and the co-op intrigue me.

Mass Effect!!!!

Now to spend some downtime, I'll be figuring out the details for Mass Effect. Game looks really, really good. Also for the Holidays, picked up Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 for the kids. They really enjoy it. Still trying to work up the courage to start trying to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero on Hard Modes. Practice, practice, practice.

Rockin' with Rock Band

Picked up Rock Band and playing the heck out of it. It's so addictive for the Band World Tour Mode, I must have made up like close to 10 bands already for my families different instruments. Still trying to figure out how to advance. Everybody loves it. On a side note, yesterday I picked up an Xplorer Guitar controller (for Guitar Hero 2) for only 12 bucks after trading some games in to Gamestop! So I've limited my collection now to Viva Pinata, Guitar Hero 2 and 3, Rock Band, and Call of Duty 4. Although I'm tempted by Mass Effect........

And now to update.

Just to update......

Been playing the heck out of Guitar Hero 3, got guitar hero 2 just to practice.

Traded in Halo 3 for Call of Duty 4, which has a way better multi-player mode.

Waiting for Rock Band, which at this time is 10 days away.

On 360

Now on to the 360....I got Halo 3 and GRAW 2. Plus add in Viva Pinata, and Lego Star Wars 2 to start, I'm busy with the new system. I really like it. I'm eagerly waiting for Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band to come out. This looks like fun, fun, fun.
