Japan and Me!

I'm off to Japan in June! It has taken many late nights of starring at a computer screen with my mate, however everything has be book and almost everything organized. Should be good; Plus, I can finally pick up a copy of No More Heroes: Paradise! Anything else I should really do?

And on the 10th day!

Man it has been along time since I've typed something like this. It is nice to see people are still active. Many things have changed since last year; one of which is that I am currently hosting a radio show on my University's student radio. If people want to tune in, Ajax is on every Sunday at 1300 BST (aka England) on GU2 Radio (www.gu2.co.uk)

Else where, I working on some video content. I hate to tease something a so far off, however I'm sure I'll post all the tester material for your enjoyment!

Anyway, Looking forward to seeing on the Forums,

Ark

I heart Endings

As from the previous post below, I heart strong, crazy ending. However none have come across as mind bending before. Here is cheers to Infamous, for a crazy long boss fight and crazy awesome ending!

PoP goes the Ending

So awhile back I finished Prince of Persia, and wrote a review on it. Review went over fine; however I did manage to forget to make a reference to the games ending. Personally, I consider that ending to be among one of the best endings to a game I have ever played, and yet I can understand the criticism against it.

It isn't what you expected and removing the choice from the play the game so openly touts was maybe not the best move; however the fact that the ending so accurately reflects the characters whilst discussing worth of idealism over life in a very interesting way, give it an emotional resonances that you rarely find in video gaming. Yes, it is a kick to the face, however it was meant to be, and I for one am glad that a video games are now confident enough to use such an ending to great effect. So, my point for writing this? Please stop complaining Ian, damn it!

I heart Crysis Wars, but don't just take my word for it...

If anyone is like me, they love a good tactical shoot. A game that fit that bill perfectly in 2008 was Crysis Wars; the multiplayer component to Crysis Warhead. I have found this to be one of the best online experiences this year and now you can experience the magic too!

To celebrate the launch of patch 1.3, and the two new maps that come with it, they have thrown together a free trail for you lot. It is only ten days (between 19th and 29th of Dec) so hit the jump to be linked to the news story and enjoy.
