I also think the price is the biggest stop-gap between the PS3 and gamers. I've been putting a little aside for it for weeks now and have the cash I need, but only just! I think lowering the price would give Sony a bigger chunk of the market, but at £100 less that would cost them a fortune.

I don't understand this article and I don't understand today's poll. What about "indifferent" as an option? I really, really don't mind that it's taking long and costing more. It just doesn't sit high in my list of grievances. Some PSX games don't work on my PS2 so I have to plug in the PSX again. It takes about one minute tops. I understand today's average gamer is usually too busy to cope with this transaction, but I can live with it. The wait just allowed me to set the money aside for when it comes out - no problems there now. And hey, at least the hordes of 11-14 year olds who say "lol ps3 sucks ass" can't get their parents to buy them one now!
