The Darkness...of the unthinkable amount of video games I have played through to completion, the darkness is one of my top ten, easy.
And, props to the guy who said Psi-Ops, I actually thought of that game when I read the title of this thread, fun game.
As for those who keep saying PDZ, please god why...the original perfect dark was one of the single greatest video games to ever grace the planet...PDZ never happened in my mind.
The scene you mentioned in bioshock is classic, and scared the piss outta me.
Other games like the RE remake on gamecube, condemned and FEAR made me want to go cry in my closet more times than I care to mention.
However, I am suprised that nobody has mentioned the scariest game of all time: Alien Vs. Predator 2, it took me a month to complete the first level as a marine, in broad daylight with 2 friends as emotional support...I never made it past the first 10 feet of level 2 without turning it off btw....
