Final Fantasy is one of the best RPG I've seen till now. I played FF7 before with a lower graphic than FF8. Even new Final Fantasy get out as example Final Fantasy X or even Final Fantasy X-2 the FF8 remains one of the best of them.

The history of the game is well made and very interesting that make you want to go further in the game and also making refusing to leave the game and your PS1. I played it lot of hours per day. You start with the character Squall who just get out from a little war between him and Seifer. The history is very attractive and it is easy to understand it while playing. More and more that you play you get new character, GF(Guardian Force), magic, items, etc... that will help you a lot to progress in the game. When progressing in the game the next GF coming is also harder to get it and you must train a lot to get them. You have a lot of place to train you characters well and they are completely different. You have some island for training where you have very different enemies.

The Gameplay is fantastic. The best is when you are in a battle. When you just start the game you don't have too much items, magic or even GF to use or summon but when well progressing in the game you get more and more and thats very fun as you have a large variety of attack possible and sometimes you don't know what to use. The gameplay let you make a lot of thing that not a lot of game let you do.

The Graphic of this game is one of the best that I've seen on the PS1. The moving of the characters are well done and in battle you have great animation as example when doing a like of magic or even summoning a GF. The GF are well created too and when there are using there attacks you can also great animation. When summoning a GF you see it coming and making the attack and thats superb to see.

Battle Mode, in the battle mode you can make simple attack with the weapon of your character(each character have a different weapon and it can be upgraded each time), summon a GF, use white magic to fill up your HP, use black magic to attack opponents or even use items. The battle work by turn, so can also switch character.

The sound in the game are well. Each times something happen the music change to the situation that is going on.

Thats a little on the game. If you haven't played it yet, buy it and play it you won't regret its a fantastic game.
