I owned the 1000 (load times SUCKED), 2000 (good model), and now the 3000. I would have not noticed this issue if people weren't so damn picky. I mean, we shouldn't expect HD quality, smooth graphics, or high frame rates. It's PS2 graphics in the palm of our hand with a minor interlacing problem (that frankly is not too noticeable unless you have your nose to the screen). Although you may be trading the ghosting for interlacing, the brighter screen and richer colors is a BIG plus imo. Screen looks gorgeous to me, if I want top notch HD I will turn on my PS3 with the Sony Bravia.
Playing Daxter on the 3000 doesn't seem as foggy as compared to the 2000. Of course, this is according to my eye. Some may beg to differ.
I recommend staying with the 2000 if you already have one. If you don't own a PSP, get the 3000 by all means.
Sorry never heard of PSP 3000.danny5329
