[QUOTE="ekalbtwin"][QUOTE="yoshi_64"]Well Metroid games have never been long if you learned how to speed run through them effectively. My fastest was about almost 7 minutes, I think it was like 6:51 or something on the GBA. I've yet to speed run my Ambassador one :P hydralisk86You beat fusion in under 7 minutes?..... Please don't take this the wrong way, but I hardly believe that. It is awesome if you did though. Yeah, sounds pretty crazy. Like someone said, there are cut scenes, and the game is short, but still should take a while. yeah seven minutes? heck no that's impossible without gameshark or AR or computer hacks...
Armored_Pillow's forum posts
my brother got 100 percent in 1:44 minutes.the games not longer because its a gameboy advance game...that should be enough explanation but seriously man you're kinda slow i'm a metroid zero mission guy but i beat fusion faster than that...Armored_Pillowwait did you mean five minutes or five hours?
Would you like to compare Nintendo Wifi to Live or PSN? Because we could do that you know. :Pmeetroid8
i know psn is better but doesnt negate the fact that wii has online.
but
ok go for it...
whats so much better about psn?
Friend codes automatically make Nintendo Wifi worse than everything else. Lack of voice chat for most games, no trophies/achievements, lack of downloadable retail games. And most importantly, there are more and better games to play online on PSN than there are to play on Nintendo Wifi. facepalm...and to think the Wii came out AFTER xbox made LIVE,to think Nintendo would try to IMPROVE on it...sigh.[QUOTE="meetroid8"][QUOTE="KBFloYd"]Would you like to compare Nintendo Wifi to Live or PSN? so it makes a difference for HD console but not for the wii? contradict much?
It makes a difference for a console with a focus on online as opposed to one without.wii doesnt have online? thats news to me.
it does...but i'm geussing your being sarcastic :PFriend codes automatically make Nintendo Wifi worse than everything else. friend codes? yea i guess if you have more than 5 friends it a hassle...but if you only have 2 or no friends then who cares..
voice chat? meh...fun for the first week then it just becomes a way to annoy people or talk trash or show off how you can chat and beat people at the same time...overrated.
trophie/achievements? what does this have to do with online? this is an offline perk.
downloadable reatail games? i prefer a real disc ..like many others...nice to have but meh
yes psn has more games to play online but that doesnt negate the fact that wii has many online games too.

lack of messaging the person your playing with..is my biggest complaint with the wii
Prefernces don't beat facts..... If you don't like that stuff, it still exists. If someone hated Nintendo games, that wouldn't stop them from existing either.... i definetly agree with the freind codes thing.Nintedno needs to stop that crap.it's not even as safe as i'm geussing they intended it to be becuase all you gotta do is go online and swap random peoples freind codes....[QUOTE="KBFloYd"][QUOTE="locopatho"] It makes a difference for a console with a focus on online as opposed to one without. meetroid8
[QUOTE="locopatho"]Makes no difference to me if the Wii sold 10 copies, 10,000 copies or 10,000 million copies, KBFloYd
dont start lying now.. popularity matters because all your friends will have it and eveyone will talk about it..
hear!hear! lol[QUOTE="Armored_Pillow"]
you know what?forget what i said :] any questions?wiifan001
Nope.
I am merely making a point that Nintendo never tried to develop first person shooters, therefore they could never have failed to do so. If you want to include Duck Hunt, well, 28 million says something.
yeah i don't mean failed at developing. i meant failed at making thier version of CoD games as popular as the xbox and PS3 versions.Armored_Pillow
Ok then, I see that's been established.
someone's got a lot of persistence...Are you in need of a system that runs GC games? if so, I bet the WiiU will not, which is another good reason to buy a Wii, even if the WiiU is BC with Wii games (and it will be). That said, if you can wait a year or so for the WiiU, you can play Wii games on that. I needed the Wii for GC anyway, since my cube took a beating from some stupid people who dont watch where they are sitting :P.
Games to get:
- Skyward Sword
- Mario Galaxy 2
- Mario Galaxy
- Xenoblade Chronicles
- Other M (flawed but fun)
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- Donkey Kong Country Returns
- and more
