This was the most pointless...review, article, or whatever you want to call it...I have ever read. I'm am usually impressed by what I read here on Gamespot. It's always interesting and imformative. But this just seems to take up space. I'm also offended by the author's reference to voodoo and its apparent origins in Haiti. Voodoo is a construct of Hollywood. It does not exist. Vodun on the other hand, the religion Hollywood has made a mockery of, is a South American/Caribbean religion that has existed for hundreds of years.

Having never been to an E3 event or watched it on tv (I'm from Bermuda and our cable channels do not cover it.), I watched Sony's and Microsoft's Press Conferences here. And in my humble opinion, it was a good show. I saw several games that I am looking forward to and are now couting down the days until their release. The only thing I am turned off by is the fact that it was closed off to the general public. After reading the editorial comments above I see that it was a good move on behalf of the organizers in that it enables the professionals to more accurately review titles and give us their opinions and what not. However, as a "regular guy" I was actually planning attending E3 one year. It's a long trek from Bermuda to the west coast but as an avid gamer, it would have been worth the sacrifice. Nonetheless, it was an excellent show. I'm looking forward to the games coming in the next few months despite the decision to hold it exclusive to the media, thereby killing any dreams I have of one day attending.
