Microsoft, please please forgive me, but I must confess these thoughts of jealousy. Yes, it is true, I am indeed jealous of the Playstation 3 soon-to-be-owners. Resistance: Fall of Man looks friggin' sick! and MotorStorm gets the best of me. No, Sony won't be getting $630 (Taxed) from me, but maybe $500 when the price is down in a year or two. Until then, Gears of War, Bioshock, Fable 2, Forza 2, Alan Wake, Mass Effect, and Too Human surely will subside. Eat it Gaystation (I really didn't mean that though, you beautiful.....shut up and worship me(Xenon). Yes, yes 360 I am sorry. (Not)

The Xbox 360 Killer App: Gears Of War
by Aromon on Comments
Considering the fact that Bungie pushed Halo 3 back into 2007,(which was an excellent decision: Who wants a rushed, thrown together finale of the greatet Xbox game ever?) we have to find a new candidate for the 360 Killer App. A Killer App is a game that is widely accepted as the "King" of the system and fulfills all of these following requirements: 1) It is responsible for causing non-console owners to purchase the console initially for the individual game 2) It is undeniably one of the best games, entertainment wise and sale quantity wise 3) It stands the test of time and is still widely played even once a new console arrives. For the Xbox, it would have been Halo if it wielded Xbox Live, but Microsoft wasn't ready, so the second child of Bungie takes the crown. Yes, of coarse, Halo 2 is the King. It has a killer (but short) Campaign, it has flawless online multiplayer, and it is still the #1 played Xbox Live game. Untill November 8th. Yes, Gears of War is the Prince soon to become the King. It has sick (say it 100 times) graphics (Eat it Gaystation fanboys), it has state-of-the-art gameplay (Curb Stomping, Chainsaw bayonets, Melee's where you can shove grenades inside Locust's bodies, and taking cover (Yes, Halo, even though it's awesome, is not realistic). Like I mentioned above, Gears will cause non-360 owners to buy Xenon more than Halo 3 because it's the holiday season currently and Gears will be game of the Year, whereas Halo 3 could be, but the market will already be consumed and most people that are going to buy a console will already have one, therefore most people will already own a 360 by the time Halo returns. Gears will be a classic, and will be the Tyrant of the Next-Generation. It's soon time to bow down and worship, whether or not you want to.

V for Vendetta
by Aromon on Comments
Any of you seen V for Vendetta yet? If you have, you either possess the opinion that is was boring or it was a surreal masterpiece. This wide array in difference of opinion is due to the fact that V is really quite dry, but the overall feeling from start to finish (That is if you actually understood the plot and the reason behind it all) is extrememely satisfiying. My score:
Screenplay: 9
Sound: 9
Acting: 9
Plot: 10
Tilt: 8
Overall: 9.0
