I am guessing 9.0 for the console version and 9.5 for the superior PC version.

Wii is easier to controll and has more simple games. Perhaps it would be the better choice for a new gamer.

The game is pretty similar on both systems.

Achievements, controller, online. Would be probably the 3 biggest differences so decide which of those things matter you the most and buy it for that.

It may not make it good for you. Buts its popularity is a sure fire indicator that it is good for a lot of people.

I knew it. I was waiting for Cnet to confirm it.

So, it's official, the Wii has nongamer/casual games.

SolidTy

I don't think you laid the sarcasm on thick enough, maybe you should add another coat.

The article paints all Wii gamers with one brush, which is not the same as saying the Wii has casual games.

Alot more paint metaphores in there than I intended:?

I dont think someone who just plays Wii sports and Wii fit will look at Fable 2 at all.

The Wii however has games like Resident Evil 4 and no more heroes that have sold well. So it appears there is a market for all types of games amongst its audiance.

These are higher scores than I think most people were antisipating. Especially considering molyneux isnt the most popular games developer in the world.

[QUOTE="xxThyLordxx"]DO NOT PAY for something that should be FREE, its like paying for air to breathe(even though that will eventually happen one day, lol)xxThyLordxx

JUst because you have a sense of entitlement doesn't mean something should be free. MS offer a service, one that costs them money. Why should they not ask for compensation for that?

it cost SONY as well.

And?

MS has already recieved a slice from the pie. They get money from game sales, and they get money from perifrial sales. Not to mention everything sold over the marketplace, and ads placed on the marketplace. Do they really need to sell themes. Talk about something that should be free, themes. On the PS3 you can create your own custom theme if you want, for free. Not to mention all the really cool themes people have made and posted up on the internet. But back to the point at hand. Microsoft has lots of money, and will do just fine w/o charging for LIVE. FrankenLife

The last xbox lost money every year it was out. The PS3 is hemeridging money for Sony (even at the HUGE $500 price point) and you begrudge them selling you optional themes? If some muppet is willing to pay for them and it helps subisidise the huge losses these companies sell you a console for, whats the issue?
