I'm thinking about dropping Hester for Matt Jones.
[QUOTE="Arthuriusx6"]steroids don't increase reaction timeOleg_Huzwog
That's not entirely true. Steroids do increase bat speed which grants the batter a split second of additional time when determining whether a pitch is a strike or not. That's the key behind Gary Sheffield's success. The phenomenal bat speed generated by the power in his wrists enables him to start his swing a smidge later than most other hitters.
steroids don't increase reaction time. they have nothing to do with it.
think about it. what happens when you get bigger? you lose flexibility. fact.it is also why athletic trainers do plyometrics with strength training to help increase reaction time.
you can't increase reaction time with steroids. it goes against logic.
if it did increase reaction time (bat speed or swing speed), there would be football type golfers on the PGA
take two 6' 200lbs men, both take 'roids, both have the exact same lifting stats, but one is a bodybuilder and the other an athlete.place both men in a agility and reaction contest, and the athlete will win every-time because he trains to increase reaction time and agility.
explosiveness. bodybuilders and average joes lack it.
yea exactly...Bonds Has Great Hands And has great Eyes..its not all about Steroids..Riley767
bingo!
steroids don't increase reaction time or hand-eye coordination.
you could say it really doesn't increase strength, it mainly helps with recovery time. that's why you might see a guy in the gym doing the same body parts the very next day.
there is no evidence of increased reaction time. that's something you'll have to work very hard at.
think of speed and reaction as a 6th and 7th sense, it's something that you're born with and you have a peak.
ex:
i could train with reggie bush from the age of five (now 22) and still not have the speed that he has.
it's out of range and i can't see the screen to change it back.
a little help.
thx for the helps
i was hoping for something a little less harry potter and not a huge fan of the lone wolf going around killing everyone(that gets a bit boring). even though assassin's creed look nice, but i feel it won't have any replay value to it.
i'm not a huge fan of all the mystical type stuff, but every now-and-then there is that game.
demon stone goes down as the best game i've ever played (even if it was 10 minutes long).
being mainly a sports-gen junky i look for games with the team aspect. i want something that has a deep story-line and i look for a game that i'll develop an interest in the success of the character. i feel like games should be more like a movie experience.
i'm hoping for a game like rome:total war mixed with nn2. keep the thousand man battlefields, but be able to jump into a third person mode.
spellforce and Neverwinter Nights seem to fit my fancy. especially nn2 because it's by forgetten realms
i'm looking for a real-time strategy/occasionally third person game with elements of madden, the sims, fable, and demon stone.
madden - developing a team to your liking and replay value
the sims - creating the main characters on what you want him/her to look like (also family)
demon stone - great story-line and and ability to switch from character to character during play
fable - actions and choices effects reputation during game play
is there any games out that are similar to what i'm looking for? i've searched gs up and down
You should be thinking in buying a new pc because upgrading that one would be meaningless.
You can upgrade your video card into a better one, but the processor will bottleneck the new card and you wont see a big difference.
wklzip
strategy type games
but i can just start from scratch and keep the hard-drive, cd rom, and floppy disk?
