would you play a rocky game????s1wel

Rocky? Hmmm probably not, cause you know it would just be another generic boxing game with a weak story to try and make it more interesting than it would be. Now if they made it an updated boxing game with some outside training and maybe a wierd story to have to travel through, but then this leads to more than likely having to have Rocky be the series of movies, not just one of the films to make a game adaptation from.

Now Rambo on the other hand could be something sweet.

i think you can have a lot more with an arcade racer ...cause it feels more like a game and not a sim

i mean....if u wanna play a game that makes it as realistic as driving a real car as possible....why dont u just go real life racing LOL

Gamerboi27

If I'm reading this right, it seems you're talking about people who bash on Arcade style Racers over Sim Racers is mostly in Sim forumns (this is only a guess). There are 2 major differences between a Sim and Arcade Racer: Sim is definitley going to be more difficult as it demands true racing and concentration to drive. As for arcade Racers there not a whole lot of penalty for crappy/out of control driving and just straight ballz to the walls (literally in burnout and need for speed type games). So if people start talking arcade racer in a Sim Racer forum I can see why its getting bashed and kinda vice versa.

If realistic driving is not your thing, stick to the arcade type. Oh yeah, and why people "dont u just go real life racing" is because it's more expensive than you may realize, it is not easy to get into many race curcuits, alot of the illegal street races get busted, speeding tickets are not cheap, it's definitely not cheap to travel all around the world to most of the tracks in Sim racers, and reallyhow many people do you know that can just go out and buy a $100,000 car?

Final Fantasy end at FF13? Yeah right... Way to much invested in such a great ongoing series of fantasy stories. The simple fact that there are rarely continuations of any of the FF games (exceptions FF10-2, FF7 Advent Children, Chronos Cross), there's way too much room for SOOOOO many new stories to be written and transformed into great RPGs.

It does seem to be an ongoing dilemna, that PS3 polls ALWAYS have a bash option, while MS oh I mean Microsoft 360 oh I mean the Bill Gates beta money making machine...damn it, Xbox 360 never/rarely gets a bash option.

As for the Halo3 poll, where was the option of "I could care less, I don't own a Bug Box" or even "How am I going to play Halo 3 my Xbox hasn't gotten back from sending it out 'AGAIN' for repairs" HAHAHAHA

Anyways, there are actually a couple fun games for once on the Microsoft system, but in my opinion Sony will blow away MS with gameplay everytime. I'll consistantly revert back to "I truly could care less about graphix if the game ROCKS." Don't get me wrong, these Master Blaster HD graphix are killer but honestly put me back on 8bit graphix with a game I don't want to put down cause it's so much fun, over OOOlalala look at those effects and WOW it looks so good, but the game sux to play.

At the moment yes, Sony has not got alot of games out for the PS3 yet, but as everyone can see the Future is VERY BRIGHT for Sony and PS3 users. As for microsoft its always the same ol' same ol' pump out as much product as possible just to rack in revenue in hopes that maybe 1 out of 50 games is actually fun to play.

30 as of Sept. 7th. Been playing video games since Intellivision, nieghbors had an Atari 2600 I used to go over and play tron and the original mario bros., before they became"Super." LOL

Still play games ALOT, but have the full time jobbie job, own a house and get outside to see the light of day. Gaming has inspired much of my art as well, so I'm sure I'll be 100 and still have a controller in my hand.

I'd also LOVE to see an updated version of FF7. Heck with re-releasing the original, make a 1080dpi version, that would be the BOMB-Tastic

liamabob

Whoa.. 1080dpi would be quite a high resolution :d

Oopsy was thinking PC screen res... 1020dpi I meant... Still, FF7 full game remade at HD res, and knowing Square they'd add tons of extras and new hidden crap so 100% completion would be virtually impossible. I want to see those 2 Robots/dragons HD and hope it doesn't take an hour+ to kill them and thier 1trillion HP...

oo just thought of a game, Silk Worm.

I'd also LOVE to see an updated version of FF7. Heck with re-releasing the original, make a 1080dpi version, that would be the BOMB-Tastic

Some very typical rants and raves in this thread :P Yet I was glad to see none/minimal brunts on the other next-gen systems, Good job keeping on track of the thread. one other minor thing though, if you want to make a serious point, check your spelling after you're done super fast rant typing. :D

Only thing I see Sony did/is doing is trying to make up for a marketing mistake of putting out a pretty useless 20GB system with the 60GB system. Now with 20GB done and gone and never to see the light of day again, the company is trying to make up some losses by dropped 60GB price. I was stoked to have checked the stores one week earlier still at $600, then last week saw $500 and was AWWWWWW (the sound of empherial light shining upon me lol) and instantly popped into my local game store and picked one up. Yes there are not alot of games YET for the PS3, but look to the future. The PS2 didn't have crap for games when it came out and look at all the fun stuff that's been pumped out for it since release. Same will happen for PS3.

Anyhoo, picked up a used copy of Resistance, me not being a 1st person shooter fan, I've found it quite entertaining and some really good jump me out of my seat moments. Oblivion is THE BOMB for a simulated MMRPG, though sooooo damn much time roaming aimlessly I forget what I'm supposed to be doing alot in game. But seriously, 80GB - 60GB, $100 difference? Do these things truly matter if you want a PS3? I will agree with all that have said "Go buy the 60GB system" if you really want one now. Trade it in for the 80GB when it comes out or do as some have mentioned just upgrade your HD to more than 80GB later and you've still saved the $100 now.

So SO SOOOO many kick ass titles comming this fall and early next year for the PS3, buy one now and play the hell out of the few Great games out now and be stoked for the titles to come. That's all...Keep gaming.
