Well, I guess Half Life is the most amazing game of the year 2004 and hardly any other can beat it. :D

This question of Batman's 'length' (i.e. how long does it take to complete the game) is a beguiling one.

One guy said that on his second play through he finished the game in six hours. Another guy wrote that it took him about 25 hours to finish the game.

Myself, I was playing on Hard, and had to give up because I arrived at a battle in which Batman had to take on a dozen enemies at one time, but after about 2 hours of trying I was unable to get through. So I've re-started on the Normal level of difficulty. At the point where I quitted (judging by my game-guide) I had completed about 20 percent of the game. At that point I'd been playing for a week, and had easily spent at least 10 hours playing.

So how long does it take to finish the game. Anywhere from 8 hours (if you're superman, maybe), to 25 hours, if you take your time. But it's not just about the time it takes, it's about the experience itself, and the experience itself is pretty amazing. This is not an uninteresting game. Personally, I can see myself playing through this at least twice, and maybe even thrice.

Yeah I agree with you. I just started playing the game on hard, and I'm already feeling the heat. But I'm determined to go on.

I would suggest you to perhaps go for CivCity: Rome as carlosjuero had said.
