Xbox Madness and Coming Birthday!

Hello, everyone!

This is my first post in months... :o

And we're one week away from my 18th birthday! Oh God... I keep getting older! XD I hope some wisdom will come from this. :)

Anyway! Guess what?

I am finally giving my Xbox some serious use! You know I only had three games, right? One of them beaten and with no more else to do with it: Fable. The other was Tenchu: Return to Darkness (or from Darkness?), game I really like, but I am stuck in one of the "missions". I failed so many times that I kind of gave up. But I'll get back to it later. And then we have the best of these three: TES: Morrowind! I have played it often, and actually, it's one of my favorite games. But you know, I need variety! And since that was practically the ONLY use I gave to my Xbox machine, I thought I needed more games...

That is how I decided to look for a list of Xbox RPG's and top titles of this console's history. It was the perfect time, for now these old titles are being sold at very low prices. That is, since the 360 came. And since I don't plan to buy a 360 in the near future for obvious reasons (no money), all my have is my dear Xbox and my cute and weathered (yes, weathered) Nintendo DS. Xbox wins DS this time, because of the games' prices. Plus, I am not really after new DS games for the moment. I am so addicted to Animal Crossing! And I have fun re-playing old GBA games in it.

So let's get to the point.

I decided to buy the following Xbox games, if I get a job this April:

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - $6, bought
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords - around $, yet to buy
  • Star Wars: Battlefront - unknown price, yet to buy
  • Jade Empire - around $10-$13, yet to buy
  • Sudeki - $8, yet to buy - (It's an underrated game. After studying it with the help of the internet, I discover that the game is better than what reviews say, according to regular gamers. With its notable flaws, yes, but good enough for me.)
  • Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II - unknown price, yet to buy
  • Halo - unknown price, yet to buy - (I know, I got crazy.)
  • Halo 2 - unknown price, yet to buy - (I KNOW! It's crazy, but I want to play with my friends from FWS, plus it is vital for me to understand Sci-Fi FPS games, for certain reasons I cannot tell you about for the moment.)
  • The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time - around $9, bought
  • Ninja Gaiden - unknown price, bought (I don't even know when, but my brother bought this one without even telling me.)

And that's what I plan to have sooner or later for my Xbox collection, Xbox Live added to it, for otherwise I couldn't enjoy some of these games to the maximum. I yet have to try connecting my Xbox through an Ethernet cable to my DSL internet service provider. I hope it works!

Well, I am done with this entry! Please leave some comments! Thank you!

Merry Christmas!

Hello, guys!

Long time no see, eh? :P

Anyway! Before I forget, I wanted to tell you...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Indeed, the time's approaching, and I don't think I'll have time to visit websites and such. So I am doing this now.
I hope you have a happy holiday, and remember that what truly matters the most is spending time and sharing with your loved ones. :) Gifts are an extra!

God bless you, and take care!

I am NOT DEAD! ;_;

Aw, guys!
I am sorry!
I know I've not been posting or anything lately... But college starts and I get all busy, and then I am tired, and I am sick too... So you know... It's hard when you got like 200 accounts around the web, or more. >.> Actually, I am inactive in many of those... No time.
And finally, my websites. I had to close a few, sadly. And I am upgrading the main one. Adding content, trying to script it myself... Although I am not currently doing it. I am first going to research and make a sort of flowchart, with the new plans.
Anyway... I've been only playing FFXI and Guild Wars for the moment, and occassionally --that is, like once or twice a week. I'll get back to D2 and TES3 when I have the time.

So how are you all doing? Leave me a reply!

See you!

PS: Important! Please check my MySpace account! If you got one, add me. I'll be checking my contacts from there, from now on. Yeah... I found MySpace to be more useful than I thought it was. ^^;

Chocobo Raising - 1st & 2nd Days

It is time to begin!

Well, let's start by telling how I came to get a chocobo egg and beginning my chocobo training career.
Yesterday, I joined FFXI after quitting for some time, and the chocobo raising feature had just been implemented this same week.
So I quickly sold some items (I had no money because everything was in my brother's old mule), and when I got enough gil to buy an egg, I went to Ru'Lude Gardens to buy it for 1040 G.
Then, I used 120 G to travel by chocobo to the nation of San d'Oria, my home. I visited the stables and traded my egg to the official chocobo trainer. And so, the raising began.
I discovered that watching over your chocobo very often would increase the affection between the two of us. So that when the chocobo was born, he would love me even more!
But that was all I could do for now. I could not tell whether the chick was male or female.
I set a basic care plan to help my chocobo while I was away. I would get a daily report, starting from the next day. The plan would last for 3 days, and then I would have to set another new plan.

During the second day, which was today, I went to watch over my chocobo many times. The conditions had not changed much. I still had an egg, and could not tell what the chick's gender was. But that doesn't matter! Whether the chocobo will be male or female, I'll still love it as much.
Early in the afternoon, I got my first care plan report. My chocobo egg was doing great!
In 2 or 3 more days, the egg would hatch, and I would have a small baby to feed!

I also joined a linkshell group for chocobo trainers. I'm having fun in it, and have learned a lot from the members.

I can't wait to see the results for my chocobo's care and raising tomorrow!

FFXI - I've returned!

For the 3rd time, I return to the best MMORPG out there. And yes, it is the best and I won't argue with you. WoW sucks beside this game. If you want to earn something, work hard, exactly as it is in real life! Feel satisfaction for what you earn! That's part
of FFXI's magic.

Anyway... Know that I came back to FFXI for the fun of raising, breeding and racing chocobos. :) Right now I have a chocobo egg with a cute chick inside, trying to get out. But my chocobo won't be an adult until one month has passed. It will hatch soon, and special care is needed to make of it a great chocobo. The color, type and other attributes depend on this same care. I am so excited!

I have also decided to resume my training as a White Mage and joining forces with my brother. We're going to be a duo of a WHM and a RDM, respectively. Both jobs are essential to any party in the game. Parties consist of a maximum of six players,
so choosing its members is something that must be done carefully. Strategies are vital for the success of a party of adventurers.

I'll be updating my blog with screenshots very soon. And I'll also write a review for FFXI in the future. :) I'm making notes with the most important aspects of this so complex and addicting MMORPG. Because trust me... Once you get in, it may be hard to get out. :P

See you soon!

EDIT: I forgot to include a link to Chocobo Raising details! So here it is: http://www.playonline.com/pcd/update/ff11us/20060822VOL2B1/detail.html
Enjoy!

Just 'Yay'!

I am now a proud member of 5 different unions. But do not expect me to join any others, hehe. 5 is a good enough number already! :P

Anyway! I started working on my collection. However, you will find this collection small. And I will explain to you why.
I am listing only those games I OFFICIALLY own, for most games here belong to my brother, not me, even though I played them too. And I am not going to list games that I do not really have.
There are some I've played but sadly lost a year ago, when I moved to this new house I am living at.
Do not expect my collection to go rapidly either. I don't have any money, and things will be this way for a long time. I doubt I can buy any of my wanted games for now, sadly...
Money is lacking in this family. :(

My first day at GameSpot

Well...

Greetings! Greetings to those who're reading my blog. :)
My name is Jessica, but everybody knows me as Arwym Starlight on the internet. I am an RPG and Fantasy freak, so expect me to post a lot about this genre in the future. :)

Today I joined a union, invited by the officer GAMECAMILLER, an old friend of mine. He runs a great community, and is a nice person. Check his profile out! He likes Megaman a lot, and is a gaming freak. :P And after all, he sort of made me join. ^^;

Even though I've visited this place for many years, I never thought about joining.
Now, I won't be around here daily, less when college starts... I have other communities and websites to visit and manage, plus my life and studies... you know. :(
Life's hard, but leaves good things in the end. :D

Well, see you around, and happy gaming!
