Hey Guys,
So just like the title of the blog says i recently bought a few items Death Note Related :P:
Death Note Volume 5.
I found it in my local HVM store so i was pretty happy about it to be honest. Cost me £20 (which is redicously expensive for 1 volume ) and contains Episodes 29 - 37 meaning i have now got the whole Death Note series on DVD :D.
To co-inside with this i've decided to re-watch the whole series again and review it fully just like my YuYu-Hakusho review ( see previous blog if not done so ).
Death Note The Movie. 2 Disc Special Edition.
Another item that set me down £20 ( Again stupidly over-priced ) so i went up to the counter and actually asked why the hell it cost so much for one movie?
The guy told me '' Becuase it's the special Edition, man. ''
I'll admit it is a really great film and everything BUT £20.... Maybe if it was on Blu-Ray then yeah but come on.
Anyway, like i've said not only to you get the movie but you get a second disc containing ALOT of special features:
Interviews, Featurettes, Cut and deleted scenes ect..
And it comes in a case, that once you pull out of the cover, ( cover = the pic above ) makes it look like an actual Death Note, which is pretty cool. But not only that, once you actually open the case, instead of getting that crappy paper that you get get in some DVD's telling you the scene selection you get a '' Death Note '' that not only tells you the rules on how to use it ( just like the movie and anime ) but it also tell you all the actors Filmography's and Bio's which is abit meaningless but cool none the less.
*Now i've gotta try and find the second movie and the L Spin off prequel in '' 2 Disc special Edition, man! ''
Death Note T-Shirts.
So a friend of mine went on holiday to America so i askedc him while he was there if he could look around for eithier an L or a Light Death Note t-Shirt and whaddya know.. He came back with both :P. According to him they cost around $15.99 each which is like £22 all together or something so i payed him back. All in all a selection of good buys.
On a side note you'd think that somthing that isn't as well known here in the UK wouldn't be so costly but hey.
ANIME IS **** EXPENSIVE!
