I'm wondering which platform I should pre-order GRFS on - Are there any specific advantages/disadvantages between PC and xbox 360 version?

I'd assume better graphics for pc but what about local multiplayer? I'd be getting this game to play with a friend locally - does the PC version support this?

I am curious because currently in the UK the pc version is £10 cheaper than the xbox version.

Thanks if anyone has any info :D

If you are from the UK as far as I can see GAME has yet another monopoly on the special edition. Not sure if they buy the rights or if there is some other political reason but it is rather frustrating to be limited to just one store if I want all of the goodies.

Was trying to do this for ages yesterday with a friend, we wanted to play 3 players, we had 2 xbox and 2 tvs linked together.

As far as we saw (and we did look for quite a while) there is no way to do this - if you choose split screen, you can start the game with 2 players on the same xbox fine, but then of course the other player on the other xbox cannot join. If you choose to host a system link game, there appears to be no way for the second player on the host's xbox to join in split screen after that, even with 'join game in progress' on.

The game manual states this:

"System Link: Hook up Xbox 360 consoles to play on a local network. You can play with up to 15 other people on Xbox LIVE or a System Link network, or with up to two people locally in Split Screen mode."

Me and my buddy thought this to mean that you could have 2 people per xbox so 8 xbox in your network for 16 players - but this seems to be not the case, and if you read the wording properly: "a System Link network, OR with up to two people locally in Split Screen mode."

Very frustrating :(
