While the game seems to have enormous potential, mostly because of it's over-the-top look and solid mechanics, I was very disappointed in Killzone 2's artificial intelligence system. The team said they knew that AI was a problem in the original Killzone, so they did a lot of work on it. They said they now operate in groups, can recognize destructible environments and respond to fire, but it didn't seem that way to me. As I watched someone else play the game, I saw bad guys doing things like standing in the middle of an open door exchanging rapid-fire shots with the player, never bothering to move or get out of the way.

Yeah I asked that question a while back Verge and this is what I got. Don't even bother. All he's doing is throwing out incorrectly spelled garbage, pathetic insults, and links that aren't saying anything new.

If you ask him a question he won't give you his opinion like you ask. He will link you to something as if he's afraid to tell us what he really thinks of the game.

If he's not willing to give us his opinion and is only relying on others I don't know how that votes well for anything but blind confidence in a game.

If you think that single video gives anywhere NEAR enough information on the things I listed, then I pity you, James L Brooks.

Listen, I don't hate KZ2. Hell its impossible to like or hate it at this point. Why? Because we don't know anything details on the gameplay.

You can't say you hate it but you can use educated guesses on why it won't be the end all FPS like its being hyped. I mean seriously this is exactly what happened with KZ1 and people are making the same mistakes with KZ2. I don't understand why people just don't take the wait and see approach instead of doing exactly what they did in the past.

At least wait until solid gameplay information is let out. Things like....

Number of players online.

1. Weapons.
2. Vehicles
3. Gameplay Types
4. Online Modes
5. Campaign features like Co-op
6. ect

you knwo info on the gameplay, only key thing about killzone 2 we dont knwo is the multiplayer, which is supposed to be huge, but that we will have to wait on, how the F*** do people hype games otherwise? lol but i guess killzone 2 is a special case when it comes to lemmings

I'm not saying they ARE lying I'm saying they have a history of over promising and under-delivering going all the way back to the PS2 and in particular where this game is concerned. So I believe it's foolish to expect this game will be all it's being cracked up to be. I'll believe it when I see it. I don't guess there's ever been a game that got glowing hands-on previews then stunk when it came out has there?
